If the children are well behaved then I don't see a problem, but if the little monsters are running around to the point that the wait staff is frowning, then there is a problem.
And I'm really sick and tired of parents thinking
Disneyland/Disneyworld is only for their children.
I cannot count the number of times I have had parents shove their children in front of my when it was my turn in line to have my picture taken with a character, nor the number of times I was 1st in line somewhere only to have a parent shove their kid ahead of me. Like I don't count becasue I don't have a kid.
The monorail at Disneyworld for example, I was waiting for the front and after speaking with the cast member, I was told that it was fine, as I headed over a parent pushed their little girl toward the front and she ran into the cabin. The cast member said they were sorry and told me to wait for the next one, they also told me that you would not believe the number of times that people have been yelled at, spit on or hit to get their kids to the front of the monorail.
My point being Disneyland is NOT just for children, you know there are some people who can't have children, who enjoy Disneyland/Disneyworld just as much, so is it to much to ask that one venue be kept elegant and upscale without children running wild?
I think not.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with the food, from what I hear that is a rare experience. The person I went to Club 33 has a membership there and his wife goes there several times a week for lunch and she has never had a bad meal, so she tells me.
Just my opinion
