If you had the option of paying to eat at Club 33 would you?
We have been once before in 1996, and there is a slim chance of arranging another visit so wondering what people think?

I know the reputation, but wondering what price would be worth the experience??

Oooh, there's someone I've been talking to at another forum (non-Disney) about Club 33 and the prices are so high, you'd need as much money as a celebrity makes! I would LOVE to visit this place, I've even seen the entrance, but to get in would cost an arm and a leg!

Ive been there multiple times and while I've enjoyed all my experiances there- The food is excellent, the service wonderful but yet there are many places I'd rather spend the money at- Paying 50-80 bucks for a meal just isnt my thing

If I had to pay to go on top of the meal- I doubt Id do it- Its not *that* kewl

I went to Club 33 recently with another DISer who had a couple of extra spots. I thought it was truly a wonderful experience. The food and service were wonderful, and I felt very special being there. It was quiet and lovely. I am now the envy of many of my coworkers and friends. I thought is was totally worth it for a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'd even splurge to do it again.

Now, if you don't have parkhopper passes for the day, it's absolutely worth it because the PHs were complimentary. That doesn't help any if you have an AP, or a multiday PH covering the day anyway.

I'm wearing my Club33 shirt today!

I would jump at the chance to go to Club 33. I've never known anyone or anyway to be able to make that happen, but it would definitely be on my "once-in-a-lifetime" list of things I'd be willing to splurge for, and if I had the option to go I'd do it in a heartbeat.

To answer your question: YES!

We went last month for our anniversary and had a great time.

(BTW, a special shout out to Jeff and Darius for their superb service at Club 33 last month :) ).

If you're not paying for a membership, the cost really isn't that much if you're just paying for your meal. You figure you spend about $50 - $80 per person at Club 33, but you also get a free park hopper pass for the day for each person. If you were going to buy a ticket anyway, you're saving money by going to Club 33, in all actuality.
Take the cost of one meal somewhere else inside the parks, plus the cost of one park hopper and at the very least, you're breaking even.

It's not something I want to do every time we go to the parks, but it's nice to visit every once in awhile. I think it just depends on how important the experience is to you. If you've already been there, probably not much has changed since 96 (my first visit wasn't until '02, so I'm not sure if it is different from your last experience), but, if the PH would come in handy that day and if you or someone in your party really wants to go, then do it!!

So how do you pay for the meal/entrance to Club 33? Of course I know what it is and have seen the door many times, but on our next trip and maybe every one after that; I'd probably like to eat there. Do you have to pay for a membership or can you just pay for the meal/PHP for the day? I'm guessing it probably wouldn't be the best place to bring a little one though? Thanks for the help!

To be able to make a reservation for Club 33 you either need to be a member or know someone that's a member who can make the ressie for you.

Hey there. Didn't I see you the last time I was at the club? :rotfl:

But I so agree with you. Food is great, service is great, being there is great...but it's not something I do every time at $50-90 per pop. And maybe it's just me, but I like lunch better.

(sssshhhh, it's me, Ursula!)

I've been there once, at dinner, and it was worth it. I don't recall the prices being higher than Napa Rose. And the chef now is good - I had heard in years past (I was there about 3 years ago) that the food wasn't that great. I would go again if invited - you never know when your connection may fall out and you won't have the opportunity.

Absolutely go if you have a chance. It's an experience worth every penny and one most people will never even get a chance to buy.

Well we are 99% sure that we will be going there, so I well definetly report back as to how it is. We had gone over 10 years ago, but knew little about Disney at that stage, well, not enough to fully appreciate it.

The other neat thing is that you can buy Club 33 merchandise from a small selection. A couple of pins, maybe a jacket when I was there.

I went last October and thought it was well worth the expense. I'm going again this October for my birthday. I can't wait!

We'll be there one of the days between the 2nd and 8th October. Not sure which day yet.

I have never been to Club 33 but I wish I could experience it, just once would be more than enough for me! I heard they have a long waiting list to become a member and that one must own lots of disney stock? How does one become a member (other than having the $$$)? :smooth:
