Sounds like we've got the makings of a Disneyland lush crew.
Yes. Every grocery store should have it as well. That cocktail sounds Yummy! Does a store like Total Wine, have Chambord?

The old French lift is just what it looked like in the picture--a sad little booth for one.

One person's negative commentsThere are a lot of new pictures posted of exteriors and interiors, as well as one person's blog comments about it all.
Like the rest of the Clubs exterior changes, its not nearly as understated before, but its thankfully not obnoxious.
Today, the entrance remains understated. No big signs point the way to this exclusive location.

It sounds like the new Club 33 is glitzy and beautiful, the food is wonderful, but the history and Walt's influences are mostly gone. Time moves on, things change, Disneyland changes--that I accept as did Walt--but I am deeply sorry that my very favorite part of DL has been drastically altered. Have we tossed aside a gift from Walt?

Disney Food Blog comment on the new entrance: "Today, the entrance remains understated. No big signs point the way to this exclusive location."
I did a poor job trying to contrast the different editorial positions taken by the two blogs, using the new entrance as an example. It looks like that quote is only talking about the doorway entrance itself, which I would agree is still understated...

MiceChat is negative, describing the entrance as "not obnoxious"
Food Blog is positive, "the entrance remains understated"![]()
I'm not sure how I feel about the exteriors yet but we had the opportunity to have lunch at Le Salon Nouveau this weekend .... IMO, They did a pretty amazing job.
I took a few pictures of the booths located between the main entryway and the main room of Le Salon Nouveau to share. The booths we pretty amazing and the pictures had lots of little "animated" surprises.
The vulture spoke to us as we were standing by the entrance to Le Salon Nouveau and said "How kind of you to visit us"
I was at DL this weekend and thought the changes looked much better in person than in the pictures I've seen online.
There are still a couple areas I hope they plus some more but I was pleasantly surprised that the new blended with the old better than I was expecting.
My biggest complaint concerns the wall with the off center windows, I actually thought the windows looked fine off center but the rest of the wall has no detail and the awning looks temporary, it looks unfinished so hopefully more work is planned for that area.
Thankfully I didn't think the new exteriors took any of the charm away from the New Orleans area at all and enjoyed the area as much this trip as I had in any previous trip.
That's actually my GF ... I'm almost always the one taking the pictures. The booths were really neat and the food was excellent ... we both had the Angus Sliders. Every few minutes something in the "Painting" would change or animate, it was sometimes very subtle but it kept us busy. Thanks so much for reporting in! I would love to dine in one of those booths, elaw--the HM booth looks especially cool. Is that you in the Mark Twain booth? Fun. How was the food?
I was lucky to be invited to Club 33 back in 2011 and it was a wonderful experience and said once was good enough now with the new remodel it has me intrigued again!
A few questions is the lounge an open place for members to go to without a reservation or reservations still needed for the lounge? Have they changed the dress code? I saw a photo with a lady in the lounge with a tank top, shorts and flip flops! I haven't seen much pictures yet of the remodel, but liking the lounge and the patio area. I think the lounge was a great addition for members especially if you don't need a reservation. Looking forward to see the outside when we visit in October!
Enjoying the pictures of the inside from those of you who have already enjoyed the re-opening!!
