Club 33 Anyone Get In

I am on a vmk pass to get in to Yavn's preview guest room called Club 33 Preview. Did anyone get in yet?

What is it like?

When I saw the picture of the room in the post above I got chills from head to toe! I absolutely love love love the picture of Walt on the wall. I am such a Disney addict, and this post pretty much cements that - LOL! I NEED this room!

303! How fast is the line moving? I almost want to tell my husband to log in for me and get me a pass then maybe by the time I get home it'll be close to my turn, LOL.

I read how the pass works and I know I can't do that but it sounds like I'm not going to be seeing some things before the end of game tonight anyway

VMK_Red stopped by when I was there. She said it would be used for special events.

I got to the last person in line, and the button started counting down numbers and flashing. I thought it would count down to 1 and then ask if I wanted to enter. Instead it counted down and vanished. I guess I was supposed to click the flashing button.

As if my day wasn't terrible enough, I had to be stupid.

Don't feel bad. I missed my place in the line too! Have to start all over again.

Had my ticket to get in, went from 379 to just under 100. Got a message owner left the room. Thus I was kicked out of queue.

Seems that if the owner leaves you can not stay in line. This should be interesting when an owner crashes too.

Edit: Yavn came back to the room, I am now back in queue. Interesting

what exactly do you have to do, or be to get into the real one?

You have to pay some big $$$ to become a member, and there's a pretty
substantial wait list. They have corporate and individual memberships, and
they all are thousands of dollars plus yearly dues.

The entitlements are basically admission to the park for the member and a
guest, plus the ability to dine at the club, but the cost of food is not
included. You still need to pay just like in any restaurant.

If you're not a member, you can "know a friend of a friend" to get a
member to make a reservation to eat there. I almost got a chance to eat
there a few years ago, with someone who used an associate membership
from one of the Corporate memberships. She got "bumped" by someone
who had a higher tier of membership, so we couldn't eat there.

Oh well, maybe someday I'll get a chance! During that trip, I had done the
Disney Gallery dessert buffet viewing of Fantasmic, which was pretty darn nice.
The view from the VMK Club 33 room balcony reminds me of the
Fantasmic dessert buffet view! Very cool.

Yes, I already "heart" this room.

I am soooooo dumb!!!!! I got a pass. I was 231 in line when I got it. I'm hanging out on the monorail, eating dozens fo Monte Cristo sandwiches, etc. Finally, it is up, it tells me enter guest room in 18 seconds, 15 seconds, etc., etc. So, I'm watching it thinking that it will take me there when the time runs out. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was supposed to click it before the time ran out. I realized that when it went away and I was still sitting in Blue Bayou. *sigh* The wait was up to 345 at that point and I have stuff I need to do today. I'll try again later.

Edit to add--sorry Lauralee and Peacefully. I did not read entire thread before I posted. I am almost glad I was not the only one this happened to.

I got lucky and got in this room when it first opened this morning. I just happened to pull up the guest room list because I wanted to see the changes, I saw club 33, clicked on it, saw it was yavn and went right in, there were only 16 people in, and no queue. Yavn was in there and he said it will only be owned by staff, not available for purchase.
