does anyone else get freaked out by these people?

No, I just never thought they were funny...although I don't mind rodeo clowns. It seems that they serve a purpose.

I have ALWAYS been freaked out by clowns! It just seems they are hiding something, something sinister!
I can take snakes, bugs, frogs, lizards and spiders, but keep clowns AWAY from me.

We had a thread about clowns years ago, and someone told me the funniest/ scariest clown story ever. This person had a huge fear of clowns....her and her husband went on vacation and the hotel they checked in was overrun with clowns! Apparently, the clown convention was happening that weekend, and all the hotels in the town were booked with clowns. I think she had to end up going back home.

Both my DD's and I are clowns with our church and we are not scary

we are part of the clown minisrty

I am Pockets the clown

DD1 is Rainbow the clown

and DD2 is Joy the clown

we go to rest homes
and other churches and even do some local parades


so don't be scared of all clowns
some of us are really nice

I must say I hate clowns also. I do not find them funny and this is just me if I was in a nursing home and saw a clown coming at me I would think I lost it.

hmmm they all seem happy to see the kids

we don't tell jokes or juggle or anything just dress as clowns and sing songs
or do humourus religiuos skits

they keep asking us back so i guess we don't scare them too much

My DH does - he has a saying "Clowns are evil" although he DOES make an exception for Bozo and he has a "clowny" that he has had since he was born. Other than that, he doesn't care for clowns at all. He tolerates them when he has to but that's it.

Oh and by the way, I don't hate clowns. My DD8 once thought there were evil doctor clowns in our basement when he was younger. Don't know where that came from but we still chuckle over it now and then.

Can't stand clowns! It started when my dad took me to a Ringling Bros. circus when I was very little. We were walking inside and a large group of clowns was walking out at the same time. They stopped, tousled my hair and tickled me, and it completely freaked me out. Ever since then I don't like them. They don't scare me, but something about them unsettles me!

clowns really creep me out. we are staying at the boardwalk this summer, and although i cannot wait to get there i am a little disturbed by the pool slide clown.
