Clowning Around on the Boardwalk! A Wigdout Trip report

Oh my, what a story -- I loved your line about ditch to a take down with the dog.... sounds like "out of the frying pan!!!" At least your humor is staying with you... and I know that isn't because of the meds... entirely.. Hope you can rest and such... so I bet you got a really nice handbag at WOD, and I bet it isn't a VB but a DB... popcorn::

I hope you get rest tomorrow :goodvibes

Is it a DB???? I got one @WOD on my NYE's trip. I got the med white sketch! I love it, except I wish the straps were more flexible!:) I can't wait to check out the new styles this weekend!!!!:banana::cool1::cool1: We are going Sat fo my DS's Spring Break!!!:dance3: I'm just a little excited!!! Anyway, so I'm not a teacher, but I am counting down....4 more days!

Ok, so I got a little distracted. I loved your FB updates. I hope you are feeling bettere and aren't in toooooo much pain. I can't believe they didn't put a cast on it. How are you supposed to keep it from getting bumped?

Oh no! They couldn't cast it??? I'm nervous for you! Hopefully you can get your students to understand how important it is for them to keep their distance.

You know, I'm very curious about the bag you bought at WOD - when exactly will that little tidbit be shared?????

Yes! It isnt much different then before since we have lived together for so long. But I need to get my TR going and share all of our pictures! I really hope you are up and at 'em soon!
There is just something more permanent when you are married! Doesn't it just feel different??

Did I already respond to this?:lmao:
That's our modus operandi in Georgia anyway. :lmao:

Which reminds me -- I should PM you and Wigd the link to a Bill Maher blog about firing teachers. I was crying I was laughing so hard, and then I shared it with all my colleagues.

Suddenly I have an idea...:rolleyes1

Not really because I am a big baby, but I sure would like a couple of days off.

Don't even think about it! This is noooo fun...
Can't wait to read the Bill Maher blog, he is such a scream!

Hi! I'm here. I'm interested to see if we ended up in any of each other's pics!
I wonder if we were in the same parks, well I know one day we were because we did all of the parks one day....:goodvibes
I don't yet, but this week is a really slow work week for me, so it is my goal to get something started! I sure will let you know!
I'll be around!
I WANT THIS... WHERE did you get it? SEND it!!! :yay::yay: Is it funny? Gee, that was a dumb question.
I'm sure it's going to be quite entertaining!:rotfl:

DEAR goodness, those are desparate measures!
Very desperate!

Glad to hear that he's doing a great job. Wouldn't have expected anything less anyway.

Yeah...kind of like a bull in a china shop....

He is a good guy!
Yes, I went in and spoke to them today about my arm.... I'm worried.
:sad2:

Anita!!:headache::hug: I hope your arm is starting to heal up and feel better! You guys were just not lucky at all! I've never broken anything higher than my ankles but I know how inconveinient that was! An arm must be a pain in the butt! I hope everyone is giving you lots of help!

How do people live with snow so much of the winter?!

Well we up here in Ontario were out in shorts and flip flops while you were getting stuck in the snow! ;) All of our snow is gone! Granted, we might get some more by the end of the month...the saying is supposed to be "in like a lion, out like a lamb" but it's always in like a lamb and out like a lion!:confused3

IS there a duck involved..... and I don't mean Donald or Daisy...
Well, a duck, a mouse or something.....:confused3
I want to see it, too!!! Please??? :)
See what? I think you know exactly what I got!
A friend of mine at work sent it to me. It made my day when I read it! Then, I went to the website and read all of his other blog posts.

Nine school days until spring break, fourteen school days until statewide testing, thirty-nine school days until the end of school. Not that I am counting or anything.

I PMed you! :goodvibes
Thank you, Marc just loves that guy!
This is funny.. no, I would just say you are a highly ACCOUNTABLE teacher...
;)

I have four days until a week and a day's spring break, and I have four weeks until all those endless high school tests and state testing... so I hear you!
I need to start counting how many days I have left....
Well, if we're counting down... :rolleyes1 I have 9 school days until a 3-day weekend for Easter, then 19 school days until my kiddos take their state "end-of-year" exam, then 14 school days until my other class takes their AP exam, 9 days until a 4-day weekend for Memorial Day, and finally 8 days until the end of school. I think that's 58 or 59 school days, total. :rotfl:
I'm going to ask Marc to count for me..... Oh Shocker!
Sorry for attacking your new thread WigD... we are clearly getting carried away... :rotfl::rotfl:
You girls know that I love a good conversation!:goodvibes and he doesn't know how many days left of school.....bah!
Awww......I'm so sorry to hear about your broken arm! I was hoping to get to post on at least page 4 when I read about it. Hope the meds help some and don't worry about posting your TR - we will be here when you feel better!
DISing does make me feel better and the meds aren't too shabby either.....
Oh I am so glad you liked your pendant! So does that mean that you did the PAP this time? If so, I cannot wait to see a picture of it! If you don't mind, post your picture of it over on my TR too when you get to that point in your report (if mine is still open). I know the folks over there would love to see it too since we have talked so much about it and so many of them are doing it soon too!
I'll be happy to post on your thread! I forgot the pendant when we went to Florida but I put in the pearl today. I posted a pic on facebook.
Are you on there?
Pick a pearl was so fun!

Only a Wigd TR could go 7 pages without telling us anything about the trip except when they got back she broke her arm!!!
This is the most active TR EVER!!!!
And I love it!
You crack me up Sheree! The funny thing is I haven't even mentioned the contest yet......;)
Ah poor Ms Anita Wigd :sad2: Sending big  from Az. Take those meds and get some Zzzzzz's
The meds are kicking in and I will be heading to bed soooooon......

There is no keeping it from getting bumped but telling the kids to be careful.
Be prepared for crowds. Go early and make good use of fast passes. You will have a great time. The weather is going to be gorgeous!
Are you going to update with FB?

Oh my, so sorry to read about your broken arm! Hope you are feeling much better soon! pixiedust:

Kathy

Thanks Kathy, this arm is the pits!

You know, I'm very curious about the bag you bought at WOD - when exactly will that little tidbit be shared?????
We had to take in Baylor's trombone this morning so I stopped in to see the kids in my class. I explained about my arm.
I hope they understand they can't bump it but they are used to lots of hugs so we'll see.
The bag will make an appearance when I write about the day I bought it but I can't remember what day that was right now.....

It was closer to the beginning than to the end, I do know that!:goodvibes

and he doesn't know how many days left of school.....bah!

I never even know when the last day of school is. For whatever reason, I just don't pay attention until some of the teachers start doing that 'countdown in the hallway every time they walk by' thing. Then I think, "Oh yeah, we don't have much time left, do we?" We're usually the 20-something of May, but I don't know exact dates until right up until the end. :upsidedow

DISing does make me feel better and the meds aren't too shabby either.....

Hope the combination of those two has you feeling very well very soon. :thumbsup2

You keep that sling on and put a blinking light on it so it is a constant reminder for them to 'please stand clear of the arm'! ::yes::

Hope the pain subsides quickly. Enjoy your day at home!

I can't wait to see the purchase! I bought a DB when is was there in November, all they had were the white ones,(still waiting to use it!) now they come in black too! I will have to get one of these in July;) I am one of those white in the summer, black in the winter kind of gals :lmao:. Why can't VB do one for Disney? Now that would be a big seller for sure!

I have my carriages ready for my girls to do PAP in July, they are getting them in their Easter Baskets. I will say I would have never thought I would be excited to go to Disney to get a PAP!:rotfl2::scared1:

3 Days Until Spring Break
4 Days Until TCAP testing
10 Days of Testing
19 1/2 Days =

36 1/2 More Days of School!! :)
(+3 Work Days After School's Out)

The bag will make an appearance when I write about the day I bought it but I can't remember what day that was right now.....

Ok - I guess I'll just have to be patient (NOT one of my better virtues :rolleyes1 )

I have so much housework to do...
but I shouldn't.
I am doing some laundry and my arm is telling me to stop!
It must be nice here today, the dogs are laying out on the deck and not fussing to come back inside.

Since we are heading southeast just after school is out I need to know just how many days are left with these little rascals for packing purposes and all....

Hope the combination of those two has you feeling very well very soon. :thumbsup2
I think a nap will be in order after the laundry is finished.:goodvibes

There is nothing like having a personal trainer taking care of you from all the way down in Florida and his mother from Tennessee reminding you to take care of yourself! I do feel the love!

48 days with students
Thank you dear!
joining in on the fun!! :cool1:
Welcome to our fun little group! You will want to join in on some of the other threads around here too! We have a great time! :goodvibes

I think everyone is going to be surprised by my bag purchase....
Should I do my souvies first like I did at Christmas? Hmmmmmmm.....
I love my carriage and pick a pearl.....can't bring myself to call it (pap) too much like the Dr. visit.

3 Days Until Spring Break
4 Days Until TCAP testing
10 Days of Testing

36 1/2 More Days of School!! :)

And we have another counter, what is the date of your last day with kids?
Ok - I guess I'll just have to be patient (NOT one of my better virtues :rolleyes1 )
I think this is another vote for souvie pictures first....;)
CONTEST???? OOH, ANOTHER CONTEST!! :yay:

I was waiting for your response Sheree!

I'm very late but I'm so sorry to hear about your arm Anita! That is just horrible.

You need to wear a big red stop sign on your arm so the kids remember. :)

I love the pick a pearl! So fun!
