Coming to WDW in Feb 2005 from the UK and would like to know what temperatures i can expect.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

You can expect ANYTHING in February! You may have some days in the 80sF/26-29C. But you may also have some mornings in the 30sF/2-4C while afternoons top off at around 50F/9-11C. And both of those situations can occur within a few days of each other. So pack everything you own!!!!

I was wondering Bob if you can help with another idea of mine.My daughter thinks we are going to WDW in 2007 but we plan to tell her on Xmas morning that we will be going in Feb 2006.Thought it would be a nice surprise if there was a letter from Mickey Mouse sitting on the sofa telling her how much he was looking forward to seeing her.Do you know of any web sites that can do this.
We are stopping in Pop Century.Any thoughts please.Many thanks.

Oooh, good question. I don't know the answer but if you do a search on some of these boards (especially Theme Parks Attractions & Strategies and Disney for Families ) I think I've seen similar requests.

If you can't find anything on a search, try posting the question on one of those two boards.

As for the weather in February. We are taking our third February trip in 2006 (11th-18th). We have always found the weather to be very pleasant. Slight chill to the morning, usually warming in the afternoon and a slight chill again in the evenings. My children start the day off in shorts, tee shirt and sweat shirt or sweater. By noon, 1st layer is off and hats and sunglasses are on. Once it was chilly even in the afternoon so we bought a Disney Towel to cover their legs with while watching parades. Since the winters in NY have been really cold the last two winters, any weather warmer than NY is shorts weather to my DH and DS.
