Clothing tape for adjusting necklines on dresses

I found a great deal(90% off) on a dress with a square type neckline which is rather low on the clearance rack. But my bra straps show a bit at the corners of the neckline.(need wide straps for support). I could use small saftey pins but the dress is black and I think they will really show. The girl in the dressing room said to get some 2 sided clothing tape. Does anyone know what she is talking about or where I can find this.

I just recently saw some of this tape in our local Target. It was in the lingerie department along with the "chicken cutlets" and adhesive bras. HTH!

I use Hollywood Fashion Tape. The strips are pre-cut and easy to use. Perfect for work if you are concerned a shirt may be too low cut. They sell them on QVC but they are likely available elsewhere.
