This is directed more towards girls but guys are certainly welcomed to post!

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear?

I HATE shopping for clothes because it takes me forever to find something that fits. Jeans I'm about an 11 and they're either to small in the waist but perfect length or perfect in the waist but too short in the length. And don't even get me started on tops. I'm, how do you say, "gifted", so I usually have to buy bigger tops. I hate it! It makes me feel so uncomfortable about myself. Because I'm not the tiniest girl nor the biggest. I'm about in the middle. So if I wasn't so, "gifted", I'd be in smaller shirt sizes.

So, does anyone have these kind of problems? How do you overcome them? What stores have you found that fit you perfectly?

Thanks everyone. :grouphug:

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Nope.
If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear? I don't mind at all. I am an xxs for tops, for jeans i am an 8, and for shoes i am a 3 1/2.

i some times have trouble...cuz i only buy stuff on sale and usally my size is the one they don't have

size: 5/6 in pants and m in shirts

soo yeaa it seem like all the cute stuff is allways gone in my size!!! lol

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Depends

If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear?
My shirts range from small to medium, depending on the store.
My pants are either 1-3, depending on the store, but, the waistline for 3's are just a tad loose on me. (Belts do wonders. xD )

So, does anyone have these kind of problems? I used to.

How do you overcome them? Go to the nearest mall, go into one of the stores, find a bunch of pants that have different styles and sizes, go into the dressing room, and try them on. Yes, I realize that it's time consuming. . .

What stores have you found that fit you perfectly? Any store. I know what I have to look for.

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Not really.

If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear? 5,(pants) and for shirts I wear a small

So, does anyone have these kind of problems? Sometimes the pant legs are too short

How do you overcome them? Get a different brand of pants

What stores have you found that fit you perfectly? Shirts: Aeropostale, American Eagle, Hollister Pants: AE, Department stores

The pant sizes for Aeropostale are freakishly weird, so I don't even bother.

well if this means anything to non-british people:

i take 11/12 or 12/13 on stuff depending on its make
and if i use the adults petite range i'm a 6/8
seriously the 6's are like dead skinny

do i find it difficult: no
do i have problems: the waist will be to big and the legs too short(on the jeans)
overcome: buy another make or style

I always have a hard time shopping for pants because I'm so tall. But I've found alloy.com has pants in tons of different inseams, which is great. And they have other cute clothes too. :teeth:

oh i know! sears has been having a huge sale latley and they have some pretty cute jeans. i got through say 5 racks. i find one pair of 11's and its a skirt! in the wrong spot! they only put sizes 0, 1, and 3 out it seems! god forbid there be a "bigger" girl who needs/wants jeans and she cant buy them because they are too much or dont have her size. i wonder if stores realize, not everyone is tiny. (no offense to anyone)

i have found one store that im surprised has my right size, waist, length and all. aeropostle's jeans fit perfectly! now, if only they weren't expensive! :rolleyes2

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Sometimes

If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear? For pants, I range from 14 slim (girls sizes) to size 1 (juniors).

So, does anyone have these kind of problems? I have a difficult time finding jeans that fit me properly.

How do you overcome them? Be open to more than one size. But, I don't have any jeans that fit me perfectly.

What stores have you found that fit you perfectly? Hmmm... I don't know.

I'm a 0 at Gap, and Old Navy. I used to be a 2, but they've made clothing sizes different now. At AE I'm a 2, and at Abercrombie, Nordstroms and everywhere else, I'm a 4. It's a strange thing! I'm 5'7 so I'm right between the regular and long, but I usually end up buying the regular. The jeans and pants seem to last the longest, in that length.

I'm a medium in shirts because my shoulders are so broad. Everywhere else though, I'm a small.

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Sometimes, because I'm picky

If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear? For pants anywhere from a 2-4...In shirts I like a medium, because OMG they are making shirts so tiny now!!! In normal shirts I wear a small.

So, does anyone have these kind of problems? Not really, occaisonally the pant legs will be to long, cuz I'm short sooo...yeah...

How do you overcome them? I just keep trying things on...

What stores have you found that fit you perfectly? Shirts: Hollister Jeans: I normally wear Levi's (my fave) but other than that I like Abercrombie

I have a hard time shopping for clothes because I'm a match-a-holic. If you read the What are you wearing thread you will see what I mean...

My favorite pants are Levi's. I normally get them from the mall. Like Dillards or something. A&F jeans I like though...

Why are shirts so freakishly tight now??!!??

Funnily, you don't have my size in jeans on there.

I'm like Jenny from Gossip Girl / The It Girl. (Well, not completely)
I'm short, so if I go to somewhere like AE to buy jeans, I need short jeans. They make them in sizes 0, 2, 4, 6, etc. The 0 is the perfect length, but I don't many people who could fit into short size 0 jeans. (Generally, in different lengths of jeans, the waist size changes a bit). The size 2 is a bit too big and the jeans are too long.

Shirts, I need a medium on top, and a small or XS on the waist. It's awful. I can't wear low cut tops, tank tops have to be made a certain way...

I have a hard time sometimes. I can no longer shyop in the Juniors dept, and Old Navy has become my best friend. My biggest problem is pants, I range from an 8-12, and I have really long legs(I'm 5' 10"), like longs are not long enough. My biggest problem is shoes. I have a wierd shaped foot, so I have to annoy the shoe guy every two seconds, and it takes me an hour to find a pair of sneakers that fit.

That's weird in most stored here the juniors department is 0-18 ...

Not like Hollister of A&F...but like normal stores hehe...Ummm like Dillards.

I'm usually a size 2 or 3 in pants, and xs in tops. I think sizes in the states are different because once when I tried on jeans down there, my normal size had two and a half inches of room left in them. Maybe it was just the store I was in :confused3

I usually have problems with my clothes, but not always because they don't fit.

- Band sizes start in a 30 around, and I am a 28. So naturally, bras and bikinis slide right off of my A-cup self.

- I'm about 5'11'' so I can't find tall jeans under $100, anywhere.

- My pants are inbetween a 2 and a 3, need I say anything more?

- Tops just look ridiculous on me. They make tops longer so that girls who are ''gifted'' as you say, can fit into them better. Because of that, girls like me have to buy smaller sized tops. Which still doesn't work. Then we just end up in shirts that are way too tight, yet absurdly long.

- My feet are gigantic. That pretty much speaks for itself.

I don't really overcome these things, I just buy the clothes anyways. I mean, it's not like there's anything I can do about it, after all.

I haven't found any stores that have fantastic, magic-fitting clothes yet. I'm still waiting for a Flat-and-Tall young womens' department store to be created. Actually, that's a good idea, I should make my own clothing line for girls with ill-fitting clothes. From the looks of this thread, it'd do well.

Flat and Tall sounds like your describing a model.

Why do shirts around here have to be so tight??? The xs in most stores would fit like a 2 year old. I like that they are longer but OMG please. It is not right that they're so tight. I wear them anyway because people say I look good in them but oh please.!.

Sorry just had to let that out...

And let's just say I ain't gifted in that department either.

Do you have a hard time shopping for clothes? Sometimes

If you don't mind, may I ask what size you wear? I usually wear a 4 in jeans but the waistline is really big but the rest is fine. And I usually wear a Medium in shirts, depening on the store

What stores have you found that fit you perfectly? umm.. PacSun has like the perfect sized jeans...and for the shirts, I'd say Forever 21.
