We always bring oursits not quite as good as ironing but for most clothes it works like a charm. You can also put what you are going to wear on the hook in the bathroom before a hot shower and it will do much of the work for you with the steam.
i have taken a clothes steamer with me on my last two cruises, and to be honest, I have never used it. I try rolling some of my clothes, and then when the luggage arrives, i unpack and hang up everything, and have never found the need to steam out any wrinkles that downy wrinkle releaser wouldn't take care of.
You can't bring travel irons?? No kidding?? My nice stuff always gets wrinkled when I pack, no matter what method I use. I can't use Downy Wrinkle Releaser because I am allergic to fragrance and chemicals. What can I do? (Besides use the community irons, which I don't want to hassle with and I hear they're not too hot anyway.)
YW Melissa! I know others have posted that they have used the on board laundry service to have some clothing pressed, which is less $$ than full washing, etc. If you have a very nice formal gown, or something that is delicate, you could consider having your stateroom attendant take it down to be pressed by them.
