No matter how hard I try I ALWAYS pack too many clothes for our Florida hols. I blame it on the fact that when we visited in Jan and/or Feb we really didn't know what the weather would be like, so packed shorts and t's and also jeans and at least one fleece.

How different is the weather at Easter? I'm hoping a bit hotter in the daytime but still expecting 'chilly' mornings and evenings, does that sound about right? In which case we will still need to pack for 'all weathers'?

At least for our Aug trip I will be able to travel 'light' :thumbsup2

I've really got no excuse for over packing though as we always stay in a villa so can easily wash stuff if neccesary - I guess I am just a bit of a 'just in case' type packer :lmao: I am always embarrased at the airport when I see a family of four with just two cases, I would LOVE to be more like that :lmao:

When we visited at Easter 2009, one thing we found it to be quite cool on a number of days, and it also rained quite a bit as well.

May be worth packing a couple of fleeces each, especially if you are planning on being in the parks in the evening.

Have been at Easter countless times. Some years I've never needed a jumper/cardigan or jeans...a couple of years ago we went and it was so cold that I spent the first three days in jeans and hoodies. Take a couple of jumpers and a pair of jeans - job done.

you have to remember that easter can be almost a month in variation ... you could be talking about late March or late April. This year Easter is the end of April so I'd imagine it is more likely to be on the warm side.

I've been twice at Easter - once the weather was glorious like an English Summer day for all but the last day when it started to go humid and reminded me more of July in Florida.

Last year we went at Easter ... which meant arriving March 29 ... on the first two days we needed an extra layer first thing in the morning and after it went dark ... I had a light cotton cardigan and was fine. After that it was glorious summer day weather ... no need for anything but t shirts. I never wore my jeans!

Late April can be quite warm. We usually travel in jeans, t-shirt and a fleece and pack more summery clothing for the trip, along with one cardi each. That way your warm clothes are your travel clothes so they don't take up room in your luggage, but you do have them if you need them. Some evenings we wanted a light cardigan, but honestly, the weather we have had on April trips has in fact been slightly warmer than what we had last October.
