When it closes, do you just get an email from title company letting you know it closed today?

Usually and some companies email you a copy of the deed. Every company does things differently though.

We got an emailed copy of our deed the day after closing. There wasn't an email that it was recorded. I just found it next day on the comptroller site.

Yeah I usually find it before receiving it since I would check the comptroller site hourly

22 days is not bad when we were used to ~3weeks, but than DVC got real fast and it was like 10 to 15 days and we got spoiled and yeah now the past few post 14+ days everyday is like panic panic panic, is today the day!!!

Yeah, the feeling depends a lot on what you are comparing with. Just realized I have seen your id on very old ROFR threads! Many great deals. You must have felt the changes in the process over the years

I've had some #1 ranked resale contract buys, I've since stopped posting all the buys for many months as it feels embarrassing this addonitis problem lol, but I would say I'm in the group of buyers just below the legendary Jimmy G ability . With the ability to share information with these social media platforms on prior experiences, we definitely are spoiled and dismissive of the company jargon of 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks, etc. Having experienced some other brands, when they say 3months, it really takes 4-5, so it's terrible. At least Disney says 1-2months and more than likely it's under a month.

So I tried calling member administration to ask if they can please send me the email with my membership number so that I can buy direct Riviera and they still won't budge lol not even if you're buying direct.

They told me contact thru email only and gave me standard member admin email address. Emailed them telling them I'm ready to purchase from them now and nada.

Even called member services and quality assurance and they dgaf that I want direct now haha. Im trying to get the member pricing btw thats why i need that to push thru first.

It's all good, I don't need the direct now, even though I would have bought today had they had done it.

Just letting yall know that it's impossible to get them to move sooner even if you're willing to throw down direct I will now stop harassing them now and wait my turn

MA is not the person to ask for this, a guide however is. Becoming a member gets you member pricing so that the incentive to get it all loaded up.
