Congrats! I'm surprised you were able to check and see your points today, seems a lot of us have been getting the Olaf Error since Sunday (no access to pages requiring a password) on the Disney Vacation Club website. https://www.disboards.com/threads/dvc-website.3942313/Home Resort: AKV

Yep, something similar happened to us. We Received our ROFR on March 4th crickets and started asking where the docs were by the 8th. Then it sounded like everyone I was working with was no longer there, even the guy who sent us the docs was leaving on the 8th the day the docs were being sent to us. Then the sellers allegedly didn't send back the docs however the date on the deed indicates they did sign that faster then the closing occurred. I'm just happy to see our deed was recorded yesterday and hope we get our contract showing up in the vacationclub dashboard soon.Home Resort: CCV

ROFR only took 13 days which is great. Receiving our closing docs took 12 days. Yep, M V T took nearly as long to send out our docs as it did for ROFR to process/pass. I was told M V T had let several processors go the week before and ours was out of the office at some point during that time. So some contracts' docs at that title company were taking 2-3 days while ours took 12. Not the end of the world (despite my claims otherwise during the process, jk), but communication was weak from M V T.
Post mortem, I would definitely use Andy Berry again at DVCRM but wouldn't give my money to M V T again.
Now two weeks since receiving documents from title and we are still waiting on seller signatures (2 contacts w/same seller). Pretty sure all docs, certainly by the seller, can be signed electronically. I can't find anything legally about a timeline that they are required to sign.Home Resort: AKL #1

You would think they would want their money. Maybe they are having some personal or health issues. It would be nice if you could at least get some sort of dialog or communication as to what is going on.Now two weeks since receiving documents from title and we are still waiting on seller signatures (2 contacts w/same seller). That's just the thing, a little transparency by www.magicvacationtitle.com would go a long way. I'm not one to sit around looking at my email every 5 seconds. I really don't care for the process to run it's course. But 2 weeks seems excessive. You would think they would want their money. Maybe they are having some personal or health issues. Look to see if it is an International Seller - that adds to the time in most cases, and I think e-signatures for International Sellers may not be acceptable to all title companies? Most contracts (written mostly in Seller's favor - but there is no industry standard contract) have no timeline for Seller to return documents as long as it closes by the deadline (which is usually very padded). There is some gray area about extensions even to that date. Now two weeks since receiving documents from title and we are still waiting on seller signatures (2 contacts w/same seller). Got mine this morning, but can't seem to get past the pop up where it asks me to go paperless, just spinning and more spinning. I'm guessing this is related to the issues from yesterday.exactly how I feel lol
I want to check out 7 month availability even though I have no intention on booking.
new member thing I guess.
This is exactly it...short responses and secretive. Keeping the mystery alive I guess.Transparency with Magic Vacation Title is sorely needed. Sounds like others had worse delays and issues than I did. Had to reach out multiple times to find out what was happening with the seller. Things seemed very secretive and disjointed.
No timelines or updates given by Magic Vacation Title. They weren’t particularly easy to work with and kept us in the dark unless I reached out. I felt like I was pestering them, but it shouldn’t be my job to usher things along when our payment had been sitting for a week along with our returned documents.
I will say Kristy (sp?) was super helpful and kind each time I called and I wish she has been our closing agent.
So they can't load your points the day you get your account info because they don't have your points yet listed on their report. You need to wait one or two days. I got my account information on Monday and was going to try to get my points loaded on my account yesterday but as we all know, yesterday turned into Member Services IT meltdown day. So this morning I logged in and saw I still didn't have my points and used the chat feature. I explained that I was trying to book my trip in Sept (all true btw) and needed my points if they were available. She said would check and within 10 minutes they were loaded on my account. Easy peasy. Why are chat cast members so not helpful sometimes? I'm seeing on posts here that new members are getting their points loaded to their online accounts in 1-2 days, but when you ask someone they tell you 6-8 weeks?
I've been following along since we are very similar in timelines! Congrats on your first contract - points will be there soon I hope!UPDATE:

Thanks, I'll try maybe Friday if they aren't showing. It just seems like they could tell you, hey they won't show for a few days, not 6-8 weeks. So they can't load your points the day you get your account info because they don't have your points yet listed on their report.
