It can take 7 to 10 days.

Ah, good to know. I keep seeing people's showing up the day of their account opening or the next day but I guess those people must be contacting MS about it.

If everything goes about as well as possible, we’ll get our points like 2-3 days before the 7m window opens for NYE and we actually want to used them at our home resort. Not getting my heart set on it, but it’s helpful to know I need to reach MS.

It means that you have your DVC account info and when you log in, the new contract is there but still shows zero points.

Points gets loaded once the contract shell is set up.

Good news! Magic Vacation Title is a legitimate company. I looked in the register of deeds and see that our timeshare has been recorded.

Now I am just waiting on Disney…. Hoping they do so soon, as I’d love to buy some direct points soon!

I received ours on a Saturday evening. I was surprised they did it on a weekend.

We recordered on 4/6 and received on 4/22.

Yeah. I had created an account. Nothing under my last name. The only thing that seems weird is that there are hundreds of Aulani transactions in March and only one in April....which makes me wonder if they're being batched. I emailed my broker....still waiting to hear back. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I don't search for Aulani transactions. I only search using my name. Then I sort by date.

We are dealing with the same companies, about two weeks behind you. How did you know to check the deed website, if you don’t know when you closed?
Does this title company not send out an email letting you know?

Random question: were you required to get your contract notarized as the buyer? I’ve seen several posts (and a thread) asking, as several people have reported not getting their contracts notarized but the sales closed regardless.

Yes, we got our deeds notarized. Myself and my husband each had our own copies that needed to be notarized. Our paperwork from First American Title specified what needed to be notarized as well as directions for the notary.
