Yes, just hoping Magic Vacation Title and DVC Resale aren't a scam and that I'm not out thousands of dollars... But, they've rejected so many of my lowball offers I find it very unlikely that they are!

Used that title company many times to buy and sell.

I have reminded several times but I am still having to edit.

So, leave blank if you are not putting in the actual website link and that it is the correct one..it works.. in order for the filter to do it’s job.

The WDW website seems to know I have a relationship with DVC. I've been just hanging around the AP page for my own amusement and On the annual pass page it says "

Update your profile to see more products and prices for the following affiliations.​

and then lists DVC:

Disney Vacation Club Members​

If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, please update your profile on the Disney Vacation Club website and then return to this page to see if special products and prices are available.

It makes me think that my points are close to being loaded into the system... even though they are resale.

But, when I go to DVC I don't have the information required to create the affiliation...

Should I call member services? can they give me that information over the phone?

That may just be a general announcement since that is one of the affiliations you could be.

But, since you are resale only, there may be nothjng to add as you would not be eligible for special offers.

I have never had to add anything specific to have it note DVC.

Once your contract is set to go, see if it updates.

How we wait for resale contracts may have changed, but the long waiting sure has not!

We are currently waiting on two contracts. One closed on April 5 and another closed on April 11. Neither have made it made it to my Dashboard yet. (16 days and 11 days)

I still need a Membership ID correction - I was able to confirm they received my emails, and email from Escrow/Title requesting the correction - that was nearly a month ago [crickets from Membership Admin] - but Member Services is easily accessible and confirms Membership Admin is swamped ...

Apparently Membership Admin (who issues the Membership ID before it goes to Membership Services for the points add-on) is going to continue as the "weak link" for a while as far as Resale contracts time processing

Congrats! Have you actually seen your deed recorded on the Hawaii Board of Conveyances site? There hasn't been much in the way of Aulani recorded on the site for April. I allegedly closed on 4/6 and recorded on 4/11, but I don't appear on the BoC site.

Yes, I did see it. I checked immediately when the title company said that it had closed.

Thanks. Hmmm...maybe I have a problem. Need to contact my broker. Unless I'm searching incorrectly....I am using entity "disney" which gets me lots of hits in March under Disney Vacation Development, but only one on 20 April. It almost looks like they're batch posted.

Did you create an account with the State of Hawaii's Bureau of Conveyances? If not, create one and then search by your last name. That is how I found mine.

Yeah. I had created an account. Nothing under my last name. The only thing that seems weird is that there are hundreds of Aulani transactions in March and only one in April....which makes me wonder if they're being batched. I emailed my broker....still waiting to hear back. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Random question: were you required to get your contract notarized as the buyer? I’ve seen several posts (and a thread) asking, as several people have reported not getting their contracts notarized but the sales closed regardless.

I am sweating this. I didn't notarize. Closed 4/6. Broker says recorded 4/11 (not that I can see). Title agent is out on a "family emergency" per the broker (4 days ago) and no response after that from either one. Disney can't find it either. They're working it because I'm trying to buy direct AKL before the flash sale ends on 4/30....but I need to be an owner in order to do it. Grrrrr!

Does this suggest people who are already Members and have Membership IDs will get their points faster…and does it only help if you have the same use year for each contract?

I have waited as long as new buyers when adding resale contracts. Being an owner has never been an advantage

Got the two emails last night and requested in Chat for the points to be loaded when they opened at 9am ET. Took less than ten minutes on Chat and was all set.
