Is anyone a Canadian seller that has sold an Aulani contract? What was the process the you had to go through?

We are in the process of buying an Aulani resale contract from a seller that is Canadian (we weren’t told it was an international transaction by the broker), and we are at 4 weeks since they received the closing docs. I was told the seller is waiting to receive the apostille docs back from the Canadian government.

We are in the process of buying an Aulani resale contract from a seller that is Canadian (we weren’t told it was an international transaction by the broker), and we are at 4 weeks since they received the closing docs. I was told the seller is waiting to receive the apostille docs back from the Canadian government.

Not Canadian, UK based, but I know when I bought Aulani that one title company requested that we use a notary plus apostille. We switched to a different company instead that allowed online notarisation.

Either way, needing an apostille a hassle and if it’s like the UK, takes a while!
