Yeah, I was "hoping" for next week. That seems much faster than most on here. The emails actually came last night (1/16) but I noticed them this morning. I had my fingers crossed for some free points in there but it was as the contract said

With the new transfer rules we've gone from needing to rent the expiring points ASAP to being able to cram them into an upcoming existing reservation of ours.

Late update. The deed was recorded incorrectly and caught by Disney. I was not notified until I called the title company almost 30 days after original recording (I was trying to be patient). A correction deed had to be notarized, which delayed everything. I understand mistakes happen, but it soured me on the entire process as a first time buyer, plus I missed my 7 month window for the trip we had planned so unfortunately I am sitting on a wait list which doesn't look likely. Not a great start as a new DVC member

I will join in on the group that is having trouble with First American Title. Just like you - paperwork incorrectly filed the first time. Then delay. And now things are moving at a near standstill.

Sorry to hear about your issues. My rep from DVC resale market was on it. He had no idea until I told him and then was on the phone constantly. I probably should have contacted him earlier but was trying to be patient. He pushed it through quickly after that but I still missed the 11 month window. Keep is updated on the outcome. I’m curious. Good luck

Did your contract show up on your account yet? I'm patiently waiting for mine to appear from a closing on 1/16/25.

It has not. I called yesterday and the person said I need to wait a month before it may show or they could look about it.

I thought I would call back to see if someone else can look. I want to make a reservation for Christmas and worried I can’t get the dates if I am not exactly at the 11 months.
