I am so impatient waiting on those points to be loaded. I'm trying to use the 2022 banked points when the 7 month window opens in two weeks for my September plans instead of my current 2023 direct points .

This one was my own fault, I (happily) dragged my feet (as did the seller it seems) since nobody was in a particular rush, but now I'm starting to regret that

Last time they had my points loaded within a day of the contract showing up without me even asking.

Assuming this is before your points load (and you'd notice the extra points), under your member information, your membership number section will now show 2 *contracts* and the numbers associated will be go from, for example, "1234567" to "1234567.1" and "1234567.2" to distinguish them.

(There might be other indicators but before points load, this is the most straightforward one to me)

Sometimes, if you call them and you’re really nice, they will add them for you… but no guarantee.

Or try using the chat if available. Have had luck that way a few times. Easier than calling and worse they can say is to wait.

I am in the same boat. Contract loaded 7 days ago, still no points.

Title company said that the seller was going to get the closing documents taken care of this past Friday but that they were only working till noon Friday… I’m hoping this gets closed on Monday so that I can move on to waiting on Disney one last time.

I emailed them yesterday and asked if they got the closing documents. The title company said they hadn’t but they sent out an email to follow up with them and would let me know when they hear from them. I still haven’t heard anything… I get that delays can happen, but I would think the seller would get back to them and let them know what’s going on… I’m probably just being paranoid. I’ll be happy once everything is closed.

Your contract "should" state when all documents and closing funds must be returned - if your paperwork and funds are into escrow and seller defaults on their paperwork you MAY be able to get your deposit back (and in a Buyer's market there might be a better deal by now anyway) depending on the contract verbage. Typically you'd get your deposit back and the broker would need to collect fees for escrow and commissions from the seller (not easy since the seller usually has no money in escrow). That is a big reason buyers require the use of an Escrow company - so the Buyer's funds are protected. Remind the broker of the date on the contract - the Escrow/Title company is not nearly as "invested" in getting the seller to do their paperwork as the listing agent/brokerage
