If they have to close a park because of high attendance (I guess I really don't mean close, but stop people from coming in), and you have been there and leave, can you get back in?

Thanks!

You cannot get back in. There have been a couple of different posts on this same topic the last few days.

Cant say this enough, having experienced wdw as a cm and a guest. Go early and stay, especially if you want to be in MK on NYE or Xmas Day. Traditionally MK is filled by 10am and the other parks follow around 11am.

If you leave your chances are good that you will NOT be able to return. If you have a handstamp or a ps in the park you are NOT guaranteed entry.

IF you are a Disney resort guest you are guaranteed entry into a park, but it may not be the park of your choosing. Upon check in at a Disney resort during this time period all guest are given a letter stating this policy and a warning regarding crowded parks.

Wish I could offer an easier solution, but ultimately this becomes a safety issue for wdw.

When was the last time WDW had to stop admitting people in a particular park???

Just wondering with theme park attendance down in comparison to prior yrs when the last time really was?

MK and MGM both closed on July 4 this year, although they did open up a bit later in the day (after parade time at MK a lot of people leave). Epcot came really close, but didn't close. There was also one random day in August or September when the MK closed at capacity, which we all thought was pretty strange.

We were there, and it got pretty crowded. But, I did not see it get as crowded as it looks on tv during Easter and Xmas time. It is probably less crowded than the summer also.

My family was in DW in April 2002. It was the week after Easter Sunday and it was packed. For three days they had to close MK pretty early to anymore entry. We went in October this year, and I will never go at Spring Break again! It was definitely managable and still fun, but I really liked the parks in October and don't think I could wait in those kind of lines again.

Has anyone proven whether one day tickets have been accorded hopping privileges:

1. The guest left the first park with a hand stamp and the park was over capacity?

2. The guest is staying at a Disney resort and the only guaranteed park is Animal Kingdom (the one that closes early) and the guest states he wishes to be in a park both that afternoon and evening.

Thanks for the info. We were planning on taking mid day break. Now I'm very concerned because we will be there the week before Easter. Any thoughts?
