closing date of bttf

anyone know the exact closing date of bttf--i really want my son to ride this but we aren't planning a trip until december

i don't think it will be there which stinks because i'm not making it down there until February!

accourding to a website i ran across ( i can't post links yet, if you google back to the future ride closing you'll find the website)
they're starting to close some of the theaters in August and then the rest will go in September...

i'm not traveling until Feb and with Jaws seasonal and BTTF gone, what am i to do.......twister

is it closing for good or for a re fit or something ?????

Nope. I went Seasonal in Sept last year and Resigned in Nov last year.

Of course I am disappointed by this rumor. BTTF holds a lot of sentiment to me.

I'm bummed too KMC! We aren't going until December as well! Our last trip was 6 years ago when our DD was 2! We were excited that she would be able to ride everything now!
We will have to wait and see!

i also read on that webiste it should be gone in september---i have not been to universal for 4 years but planned a trip for dec. this year and got my son all excited about back to the future(rented all the movies)because last time we went he was too small---well i've broke down and decided to drive up for the day next week just so he can get a chance to ride it

i heard they almost closed JAWS last year but that a petition was started (like the one posted about BTTF) and they were able to save it ... lets hope all these ride stick around!
