Closing costs question

Would closing costs on a direct purchase be similar to resale?

Because #math, I tried to figure out my percent savings buying resale after closing costs, but I guess I don't know what closing direct looks like.

I believe so. When I use the add on tool on the DVC site it tells me that closing costs for 150 points at Riviera is $559 with 10% down payment. Closing costs on my 125 point SSR resale are $599.

DVC charges an additional fee of $250 or so? Some brokers also have a fee, one of which I know to be $150 in addition to closing costs so ask questions... Good luck!
