Closing costs for add ons from Disney

Can anyone tell me what the closing costs for 25 point add-on contracts purchased direct from Disney? Also, can you choose your UY when buying add ons? Thanks!

Currently, add-ons direct from Disney do not have closing costs.

Add-ons will have the same UY as you already have. To get a different UY you would have to purchase a new master contract at the current new member minimum.

Thanks. We are buying a 50 point resale at VB with an April UY. I am thinking of a 25 point add on at either AKL, BCV, or BLT. Is this possible, and would this contract have an April UY?

Yes, once your resale closes and you are in the system, you can do an add-on, and it will have the April UY.

Yes, by definition and add-on is an addition to your Master Contract and therefore will be deeded exactly like your original contract including the Use Year. The contract number will be a suffix variation of the master contract (.01, .02, .03, etc.)

You will be able to combine the points from both contracts only at 7 months if the resorts are not the same - but you will not need (or be able) to transfer points between contracts since they will already be in the same contract. Unless you only plan to be making reservations within 7 months, it will be worthwhile to have a plan how you will use a 25 point add-on (with banking and borrowing you would have 75 points to use at that resort every three years).
