Might anyone know which of the Disney springs hotels is closest to…Disney Springs? If you want to walk there. Thanks!

The Hilton is literally right across the street from the Marketplace gate.

Nice hotel, too.

all 3 of the above noted are really close, and a nice easy walk.

Hilton Buena Vista Palace and Hilton Lake Buena Vista are the closest hotels to DS, literally across the street from DS and there is a pedestrian bridge from both that goes over the roadway..

I had stay on two, The Wyndham Garden and the B Resort. I can say that the Wyndham Garden is very closed. From Lobby to Disney Springs in 5 minutes. The B Resort was a longer walk, around 15is minute. That trip was in June, so those 15 minutes in the heat were terrible.

Whyndham and Hilton Orlando are both a 0.3 mile walk to the Earl of Sandwich. Hilton BV Palace is 0.5 mile walk. As per Google maps.

Hilton BV is the closest in distance, as the crow flies, but the other 2 hotels have a shorter walk to the pedestrian bridge.

Thanks. I just need one night at beginning and end of stay. Which of these 3 hotels would you recommend? Is the B hotel or Holiday Inn within waling distance?

Depends on you and heat. B Resort is about 0.7 miles to Earl. Hilton BV seems to get the best rating and seems to have the best pool.

What about Drury? Too far? Not nice?
The Drury doesn't open until October, so no one has experience with it (other than staying in other Drury hotels, which I'd do without question). It's going to be across the street from the Doubletree Suites, so still walkable to DS but farther than either of the Hiltons or the Wyndham.

Anyone know if the Drury would have a boat shuttle to DS? Maybe its just my wishful thinking but Google maps shows a clear water route to DS from the Drury.

The chance is zero point zero. Offering boat service would not be popular. It would require charging all guests a significantly higher resort fee.

I don’t think the 4 seasons offers boat service to the MK.

Pretty sure there is barely enough clearance under the bridges for a canoe. It is so close it would make no sense to invest in a boat system.

The walk isn't bad (probably faster than any boat) and at least pre-COVID the hotels had bus shuttles to DS.

I was just there and drove past the hotel several times ... was a bit concerning how much work appears to be needed for a clear Oct opening.

When I got home I looked on DS Hotels and Drury websites and there is no open date other than Fall 2022, and on neither site could I book trying all the way through November. It finally offered me rooms in mid December.

Contradictory message -
This hotel is unavailable for your selected dates. Please note, we are currently accepting reservations for arrival Fall 2022.

I wonder if anyone has existing reservations for that time frame?

And if so, I think I would be watching closely for opening.

I agree - we drove past it earlier this month, and I wondered if it could meet that October date (which has apparently changed).

We walked multiple times from B Resort, but it was in February, so it wasn't hot. It is a very easy and safe walk.

We booked our stay for December 3-9 about 3 months ago and then I added the 2nd just the other day, maybe this past Friday 8/12? It let me, and shows in my confirmation with opening date still in October. Somewhere it did tell me (before I booked) that only some of it would be open then. But we’ve liked other Drury hotels, won’t have the kids with us (longer walk) and got a pretty decent price. We’ll give it a shot.
