Closest Place to SSR to get AP and DDE?

We are thinking of getting an AP and DDE card this trip. I did not want to order them ahead of time because I heard it can take several weeks to get your DDE card and I want it activate as close to the trip as possible (gives me more time to use it for the next trip).

Where is the closest place to SSR to get these? Don't want to waste a lot of time after check in before heading to the parks? I know we can get them at the ticket counter at the parks but they are always so crowded when we pass. Didn't know if there was a better option.

Any Guest Relations, including DTD

You also should be able to get tham both at the check-in for SSR, I know we did at OKW this past trip.

There are 2 Guest Services counters in DTD.

1 in the MarketPlace next to Ghiardeli's(inside) and the round one in PI right outside of Wetzel Prezel. (outside) I like the 1 in PI because it is less busy and they have time to check and compare. I always feel like im holding up the line (because I am ) at the parks when trying to decide what to upgrade etc.

Both easy access from SSR since you can take the boat or walk.

I dont think you can purchase AP or DDE at the resorts, that has to be done at Guest Services.

Right, neither can be purchased at the resorts although regular tickets can be.

AP can be bought at any ticket booth at the parks. DDE must be purchased at a GS location. We've never had too long of a wait at GS when buying APs. It seems to me if your plans are to go to a park first, it will be far less time consuming to just tolerate a short line to get it done at a park rather than make a special trip to DTD.

the last time I had one had to order it and wait for it to be posted out , but was given 13 months instead of a year

Yes, you can just buy one at GS now!

The current cost is $60 for APers. It's $25 for an additional card for a spouse.
