Closest Pepsi to the World?

What is the closest liquor or grocery store to WDW that we could pick up some Pepsi products? Ideally we don't want to use a taxi, but if we must where is the closest (i.e. cheapest) point to pick it up?

Does that gas station at Downtown Disney sell Pepsi?

It's not dire, but my dear sister who I'm travelling with greatly prefers Pepsi, and she's just wondering where we could pick some up. I don't think brining carbonated sodas on the airplane is the best idea. :rotfl2:

the gas station at DTD is coke only. there are a couple of gas stations eastgate and a walgreens. or, yuck, Goodings.

There's a Goodings supermarket across SR-535 from Disney Property. From DTD, it's walking distance, via Hotel Plaza Blvd, and then there is a light to cross 535 with.

Drive down Hotel Plaza Blvd. At the traffic light (with Crossroads Shopping Center directly in front of you), turn LEFT onto 535. Follow the road straight through the next traffic signal for a few blocks and there will be a Winn-Dixie on the right side of the street. It's a beautiful store and cheaper than Goodings. There is also a liquor store in this little shopping plaza. You wouldn't be able to walk to this store, but it would be a very short taxi ride. Hope this helps. (We're a Pepsi family too!)

From what I hear, you are not allowed to bring Pepsi products into a Disney hotel. If the cleaning people see any Pepsi items in your room or a worker sees you with it, they will report it to management and you will be dismissed from Disney property without refund. Make sure you hide it well. I'd hate to get kicked out for that reason. Good luck.

Another Pepsi drinker here...how are you getting from MCO to your resort? If your using a towncar service some of them will do a 20-30 minute grocery stop. I have stopped at the Publix and bought 12 packs of Pepsi and when I arrived at the resort the guys that helped unload my luggage and take it to my room never said a thing. I also had a case of water. We were staying 10 days and I could not imagine 10 days of no Pepsi.
Depending on what else you need a tthe store there is a company called Wegoshop that will shop and deliver things to you for a fee. I'm pretty sure the web address is www.wegoshop.com. Thats an option too. May be cheaper then using a taxi.

I hope you are able to get the Pepsi your sister needs.

I keep my Pepsi and Diet Mt. Dew in our hotel room on the table. I even carry a couple of bottles in the parks. Security never mentions it. I do feel like I'm bringing in contraband! :rotfl2:

Pepsi family here also. Though we do love our Dr Pepper too. This reminds me of a funny time with a CM. DD keeps forgetting we are in Coke country while at WDW, so she asks for Dr Pepper. The CM speaks up very loudly, in a joking way, "no, young lady, we dont have Dr pepper or sweet tea. Yall from NC, aint ya". I think the whole restaurant turned to look.

Just made for a magical moment. Good luck in tracking down those Pepsis.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Now, where is the Cheerwine?

Last Dec. I made my husband stop at the nearest Wendy's that served sweet tea. I think we were in Georgia. I was going through withdrawls.

Cheerwine!!!. Now your talking. We love Pepsi also, but you can't beat Cheerwine from the metropolis of Salisbury, NC.

We had Dr. Pepper in our room last year. We even gave one to housekeeping. Hope we didn't get her fired. I'm going to read our disney literature for the part about getting kicked out for bringing contraband. I had no idea we were breaking a disney law!

Not a problem having Pepsi products in your room or in the parks. Don't give it a second thought. They can't stop you from having it.

I think she was only joking.

You've heard wrong. Disney may not sell Pepsi products but will never stop anyone from bringing it in. That is the most absurd thing I'v ever heard of! LOL!

She may have been but others didn't see the joke. A smiley or two would have changed the tone of the note.

So glad we'll have a car with us. I'm stocking up on pepsi before i check in...we all know the mouse "REALLY" loves pepsi.

Wow, I'm blown away that that gas station is coke only!

I guess we'll go to the Crossroads, or have a taxi take us. Maybe we'll just bring a 12 pack on the plane. It's not like the cans the flight attendants pass out explode. I definitely don't want to put it in luggage, though.

Yep, Pepsi can not be purchased anywhere on WDW property, not even the gas stations.

LOL! Let's hear it for the Pepsi Generation! :rotfl:

I, for one, didn't need a smiley to let me know this was a joke. Lighten up, people! :) :goodvibes :sunny: :flower:

What's "sweet tea"? Is that the same as "ice tea"? Sorry I'm from the left coast.
