Closest (not too expensive) grocery store to Cypress Pt.GV??

Is it my understanding that there is a Winn Dixie not too far from there, and that the prices are not too bad.

I heard Publix is sort of expensive, right?

I shop at home at Super-Walmart, so that gives you an idea of what I pay. I know nothing is super cheap, I just don't want to pay $3 for a head of lettuce.

In Jacksonville, I have a Winn Dixie with a Publix across the street, I usually cross the street & shop at Publix because I am a loyal customer & have never had the slightest bit of bad service. I would say that Publix & Winn Dixie are about the same grocery price wise, just depends on whos got what better on sale that week vs. what I need or want.
Winn Dixie is definatly closer to CPGV & Publix is really not that much further, just go back twards I4 & go under the overpass, next light on the left is the Little Lake Bryan area, turn there & follow the road around the corner, pass the Outlet mall & Publix is right there, its nice, new & bright. Its maybe 5-6 miles away. If you have a taste for a freshly made sub sandwich or fresh cut fruit, hit the Publix, if you just want snacks, drinks, etc, go on to Winn Dixie.

I have found both the Winn Dixie & Publixs in Orlando have the same prices & use the same sale ads as the ones here in Jacksonville.

I have found it is not worth my time, effort & frustration to go all the way to the Super Walmart on Hwy 192 just to save a few pennies. I went there last time I was in orlando because I needed a car charger for my cell phone & was cussing all the way there cause the traffic was ridiculous & SLOW.

No, Publix prices arent incredibly high, not like what I hear about Goodings! Depending on what you are buying, you wont be spending much more that you would at Super Walmart. (maybe a dollar or so for your entire trip)

one thing that DH and I are pretty excited about is getting to know the area better and the things, other than Disney, that it has to offer.

Oh you're going to love CP! We go nearly every year and it's like our "home away from home" now! We're heading down in November.

Another vote for the Winn Dixie....in fact you could enjoy a walk over there as it's really very close to the resort. It also has the geatest liquor store and pizza place too! You're soooo close to lots of nice shops and restaurants too.

Update: MOMTOMOOTOO..........the pics were just returned to me and that usually happens with a Hotmail account as the file is pretty large......if you could email me your ISP email addy that would be much better!

FYI an ISP (Internet Service Provider) ie: cable DSL etc. usually gives you an email address and most people keep that one for friends, family etc while Hotmail,Yahoo etc. is usually used for "strangers"signing up for message boards etc. But these emails don't have enough space for large files such as photos so that's why I asked her to email me her other email address as there are too many pictures in my file. Hope that explains it a little better.
