What is the closest grocery store to the BWV? We will be arriving at MCO at approx 8:30PM and will either drop off DW and the kids and go shopping or will go on the way from MCO to BWV. Suggestions...are they open late?

We found it much easier to use wegoshop. We were settling in as she arrived (right on schedule). She even used her own coupons and split the difference with us. The delivery cost was $10 but she saved us $6.50 with coupons. Well worth it.

And she shopped at Super-Walmart for us so no Goodings prices.

Interesting....Wegoshop??

How does one reach her??

I always go to Goodings or Winn Dixie but hate to shop when we get in!!

Thanks.

There is a Publix located at 14928 E Orange Lake Blvd

This is the street address located in a shopping center. Orange Lake Blvd intersects US 192 a little west of Black Lake road. When you leave BWV make a right onto Epcot Resort Blvd. Then make a right onto East Buena Vista Dr. (this is the light at the Hess station). Go over World drive and enter it (ramp) You are now leaving Disney on the original road built in 1971. This will take you to US 192. You want to go west bound on US 192 to E Orange Lake Blvd. The shopping center is on the right hand side.

It is about six miles and maybe a ten minute ride.

The closest major supermarket is probably the Winn-Dixie which is only a few blocks up from Goodings.

However they are a membership store which means to get the best price you have to get one of their cards. (Easy to sign up for, even if you're only going to shop there once)

Many like Publix since it's much newer, and you don't need a card.

For quick stuff, I just walk across the street to the Hess gas station. Water/soda/beer and snack stuff was pretty cheap, and much cheaper than the Screen Door.

I like the Publix over by the Orlando Premium Outlets.....very easy to get to and the prices aren't too bad.

What was the price of beer at the Hess station? Did they have Budweiser?

I can't remember the prices, but it was close to what we pay here. I pay 8- for a six pack of Mike's Lemonade here and down there I think it was a little less.My friend said she thinks her 12 pack of MichUlt bottles was around 10- (same price up here). They had bud/bud light etc. cans and bottles. It was much cheaper than on the BW. Coke was around 2.50 a 12 pack.

Hope that helps :goodvibes
