I got an unbelievable deal ($102) on a whole week off property at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. It's not Disney Resorts, but at least we still get to go this year. Thanks to all of you who tried to help us out.

very flexible on the dates. Would really like Dec 12th-16th, 2008, but can't afford $10 a point.
Basically I would love to be able to take my son to the Christmas party and one day at the parks without having to miss alot of school/work. Any weekend Fri-Mon between now and then would probably work.
My son and I have taken a "Just Us" trip to Disney every year since he was 2 years old. He's now 8 yrs old. We usually spend an entire week just before Christmas, while Dad keeps the home fires burning. Normally budget is not an issue (within reason lol), but this year has been especially trying for us. As it is, I sold some things on Ebay to raise money for this trip. I'm looking for Pixie Dust by the skyful this holiday.
We love exploring new resorts and spend the first day decorating our room (we even have a fiber optic tree/decorations to come along with us) and the night at
MVMCP! Followed by a day at each park, a tour by monorail to all the resorts to check out the decorations and gingerbread houses and night Extra Magic Hours at MGM for the Osbourne Family Spectical of Lights with hot cocoa and snuggles. It's a very special time for us to bond and it means alot in a time when kids grow up and away so quickly. I hope one day my son will continue the tradition with his children.
Anyhow, my son took the news of no Disney this year like champ. He even offered his piggy bank to help pay bills. He's a good kid and I'm proud of him. I'd love to be able to surprise him with at least a few days before our seasonal passes expire on the 17th. It will be our last trip to Disney for awhile. I'd appreciate a PM from anyone who already has ressie or points available for less than $10 per point.
