After a review of comparable offers by others, I decided that the $12 price point was currently too high and have lowered the price to $11 per point.

Are the points for Transfer only or can they be rented to non-Vacation Club members? Can they be used at a different resort? I'm looking to book a 2 bedroom at the Boardwalk for 4/21 or 4/22 2012 thru the 4/25/2012. I am willing to stay at a different resort if necessary.

I would prefer to transfer the 150 points.

I do have 76 points that were banked from last year that can be used for a reservation. I haven't really decided what I'm going to do with those points, so I may consider renting them. Since DVC rules won't allow me to transfer those points, I would have to make the reservation. I did check availability for that resort, but there was nothing available. The points required for the number of nights exceeded 76 points, so I don't think that would work even if there was availability. Sorry.

Maybe I can get a friend of mine who's a Vacation Club member to take the transfer and make the reservation for me. That is, if other resorts are available for those dates. AKV, BLT or BCV?

Sounds good. Keep in mind that while I have a total of 226 points available, only 150 can be transferred to another account.

If I don't have any success finding someone who wants them as a transfer, I may consider renting.
