I now have 90 points available to rent. I could be talked into renting as many as 214.

I've never rented points before, so I need walking thru. I was thinking of a Sat-Tuesday for a Studio. Do you know how many points that would be and what that ends up being in dollars?

The points needed vary by season of year and day of the week. Just take a look at this points chart. The entire month of May is in the same season: Dream Season. Saturday night is 28 points. Sunday and Monday nights are each 13 points. That comes to a total of 54 points. I rent points for $10 each, so you'd be looking at $540.

(There's also a point calculator available. Just plug in your dates and where you want to stay and it does the work for you.)

If you're interested, let me know when you would want to go. I can call DVC Member Services to see if there's availability in a studio. Specifying alternate dates might also be useful.

Is a transfer also possible? It's only for a few of the points = 10 for Dec 2010. I'm new to boards so can't pm yet and we've only ever transferred out of our account...not in. Just wondering since you're looking to rent the rest. Thank you!

Only the first night is available, June 13. All the other nights are full. That would be 14 points, or $140.

All they have in one-bedroom and two-bedroom units is single days. That is, you'd only be able to stay for a night, then spend one or more nights somewhere else outside the DVC resort, then come back. That's for the entire period from May 15 through June 15.

I see this is your first posting. Welcome to the DIS!

If there is availability, it could take anywhere from 75 to 93 points, according to the point calculator. I've got enough for that.

Let me know your e-mail address and I'll send you my standard rental agreement. You can look it over first. Because this rental would be so soon, I would need payment in advance before making the reservation.

The only availability Disney has in that time frame for a studio are the nights of April 12, 13, and 14, for a total of 39 points. Let me know if you're interested in those.
