My family has planned a reunion for Jan 2010. I need 2 points to complete the entire reunion. I have borrowed everything from 2011. I am not looking for a freebie. I am willing to pay. Can someone help!

I don't think you will find someone to transfer 2 points. With the rules being only one transfer in or out a year this is not very practicle. I would suggest you take 1 day off of one of your reservations (sounds like you have more than one room) and pay the DVC discounted cash price for that day. It will cost a little more than buying 2 points, but they can bridge the cash reservation with your points reservations and it will get your trip fully booked.

Thanks for the suggestions! I recognize the chance of being successful with a 2 point transfer is small.

As I was contemplating my options I wanted to see if a small transfer such as 2 points had been tried before. Also, were those attempts successful? Surprisingly I was able read that a number of threads were closed after getting the small point transfer. That being said, we are trying to reserve Grand Villas for our stay. I am only 2 points away from making that happen for our entire time. If need be I will pay for one night of the Grand Villa but that is much, much more than paying for more than the going rate of 2 points.

I have transferred three points in the past. We were not going to be doing another transfer that year since we had used used almost all of our points so I was willing to do a small points transfer but they did pay me a premium rate to do so.

I would suggest being open to paying a higher rate than normal if that is an option.

If you have someone else book one night and rent the points for that, I am sure member services can make a note on your file and link the reservations when you check in. Since it saves them cleaning a Grand Villa when you check out, I am sure it could be arranged.

You could rent points for one of the weekday stays and that might work.

I do have points that I am willing to rent if you think this might be an option.
