CLOSED PLEASE CLOSED**Official September 2012 Thread!**

Ah, HERE is the official September 2012 thread! :goodvibes

We are tentatively planning a two-week trip late September through early October next year, which will be mostly WDW, but also some USoA (we really NEED to go to Harry Potter!!!). Not sure which resort yet though - still trying to work out whether we can swing deluxe (if we can, then it will be BC) or mod (not sure on this yet - POR, CBR or CSR). Then again, we know we enjoyed staying at ASMu, so it might be that too LOL

Looking forward to counting down with you all

We will be there from 9/15/12-9/22/12. Hoping the Little Mermaid section will open up for booking at the Art of Animation resort but otherwise we'll be staying at POP. Booking up to 7 rooms for family and friends as well. :cool1:

We had to replace the tires on my car, and on DH's trailer (for towing his race car) AND put on new brakes. We're not booking till next month, but we're booking two rooms at POFQ Sept 9-15, and it'll be for Me, DH and the boys, and my mom and FIL. We'll sort out rooms so everyone is comfortable later. My brother is going separately but at the same time as us, and our decision to stay in a different resort convinced his significant other/girlfriend/ex-wife to come, too! So I'm happy for him, that it all works out.
I had originally planned on going with a travel agent, to take some of the planning stress off my shoulders. The only reason I'm still thinking about it is that it would be nice to have someone else deal with the hassle of adding free dining if it comes out. I'm not sure if I should go with Small World-- not fond of the lady we got assigned for our quotes-- or a local place that says they specialize in Disney.
ETA- Is it really a hassle to add free dining later if they offer it? or am I blowing it out of proportion in my head? I'm picturing hours on the phone trying to get in touch with someone to handle it, LOL. And how difficult will it be to get reservations in September if they offer free dining? Is it easier to let a TA handle that?

My niece got back from France today where she visited DL. She loved the rides but was upset that she didn't get to speak with the characters and that it was sooo busy. So my mom said....well were gonna have to go to DW Florida then :-D. IV been pushing this for so long and today it was confirmed!! Were visiting in September and I can't wait to start planning

9/16-9/25 for my 29th bday! We're staying at Port Orleans (Both!), and it will be our first time staying in a resort. Well, technically I stayed at the Grand Floridian for a few nights when I was 11, but I barely remember that at all!

Hey everyone!
I've been gone for a while, sorry about that. My Grandmother had another stroke two weeks ago (The days kinda blurred together, but I'm pretty sure it was two weeks ago.) DH and I are going to move back to California and I am going to take care of her for my Grandpa, who has been very great at taking care of her since her first stroke in 2009.

DH is trying to transfer to another restaurant, but it might not happen. Which is okay, as my grandparents are putting a roof over our head, and delicious home made meals in our tummies.

We are still planning our trip, but it now fully depends on whether we get jobs, my grandma's health, and now that we are moving, we will be in school during September, which was not an issue here in Oregon.

I will be back to update the list tomorrow, as I am exhausted from the drive back home and have to start packing tomorrow.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear about G'ma! But happy that you won't have to worry about a roof over your heads while taking care of her. That would have been my biggest worry. Fingers crossed on the job for DH!! pixiedust:

Additional pixiedust: for being able to go to WDW next Sept! Have a safe journey back to Cali!

I'll be there the same time as you! We'll be there for DS 18th birthday. We arrive 9/12 and leave 9/23. We're also staying at POR. Split ressie eh? Sounds like fun!! Hope to bump into you!

I'm not sure of the exact dates, but a friend and I will be going to disney in the end of september into october. We're turning 30 in 2012 and I believe EPCOT is too, so that's the basis for our roadtrip down!

Well we just got back from our trip last night and my DH has decided that we just must go back so we are going 9/16 - 9/30 and staying at Movies. Though I am trying to convince him to do a split stay and go to CBR as well (maybe even for a few days).
So what does anyone know about the end of Sept? Crowd levels, if they ever offer free dining then and MNSSHP--this is the main reason of why we are going then my DD saw the signs and just HAS to trick or treat with Mickey!! :

Add: we will be celebrating my daughters 6th birthday while we are there and our 10th anniversary!! Want to try to find something special for both of them

I have just changed our ressies - we were going from Sept 29-Oct 6/12 w/ FD so I was originally on the Oct/12 trip board. I have since changed my dates to Sept 22-29/12 w/FD. So, here I am! Very excited! We are staying at Pop - for now! Depending on a few things - my MIL may be coming with us (hopefully) and maybe a friend for my son as well, therefore, I will need to either get 2 rooms at Pop (which is what my 17 yr old is hoping for) or I have been looking at POR AB (only for 5 of us) as well as ASMusic FS. I have been hoping AofA will come available as well. We will have to wait and see. I do, however, know where we will be eating - but it does change from week to week!

Planning on Sept. 24-29, 2012 at Pop; hubby & me on a "just us two" trip! (First real "just us two" vacation anywhere in 21 years!) :cheer2:

Well, I've changed the dates of DS and I's trip. We'll be leaving Aug. 24 through Sept. 4th. He'll be a senior and we looked over what classes he's taking and decided that it would be best to go before school. He'll be taking some advanced classes that I don't want to pull him out of school.

So as of right now my fiance and I have the 2-8 set for our dates next September. However, I have been thinking more and more that maybe we should make it later in the month to enjoy the NSSHP. He loves Halloween and I think it could def be fun for us. Does anyone have any idea when this typically starts in the month? And if it would be worth it for us to make our trip later in the month?

We will be staying Poly CL 9/22/12 - 9/29/12! I'm so excited I can't stand it! :cheer2: Only a few more days until I can say less than a year until Disney!

With our package for Sept. 2012 we included the Water park n more option. I was just wondering if this was worth having this time of year? I know some times the down times for the water parks start around this time of year. Has anyone ever had an issue with this? is this option worth it? Also, when does the MNSSHP typically start? I was contemplating making our trip later to go to this.

I didn't want to read thru all 10 pages to see if I had already posted on this thread, but don't think I have yet since my name isn't on the Sept. 2012 list.
We have 2 trips planned next year for WDW. So excited:dance3:
We will be doing a split stay in Sept. with Sept. 8-15 at BWV and Sept. 15-20 at OKW :yay:

We just booked Free Dining for September 12-19 at Caribbean Beach Resort. First time at a Mod with the kids. But it was only $100 difference from a Value upgraded to Dining Plus and staying at a Mod to get Dining included, so DH said to book the Mod......yeah!!!:dance3:

Less than a year to go now!!!:cool1:
