Hunter lost his first tooth last evening. He wanted me to tye a string and then attach it to the catI had the cat held down and it got away so I just ended up using my fingers.
The tooth fairy came and left him 1 of every coin and $1. The tooth right next to it is going to be out before we leave.
I only wish I had some Disney dollars to give him.

All Disboutique meeters, you may post photos of my kiddos, but if you post photos of me, please photoshop 50 pounds off, okay? But if not, that's okay too. post away.
Breakfast of champions! I can't believe she is growing up soooo fast!![]()
I just got back at 1:30 this morning and am doing nothing I should be (unpacking, laundry, taking Seth to basketball) but I am uploading nearly 900 photos to the computer. I'm still trying to decide if I'll do a TR or not. I do have lots of customs I didn't have time to post photos of before I left though, so I'll try to get something into photobucket.

I love all the cute pictures and the trip reports from your dis meet! The kids are so dang cute.
I did keep going today because I knew this was going to be a shirt that would take several tries. This is the very first one so I know it is bad. DH did print in reverse for me and I also need to fix a few things but Hunter is so sweet he just loves it.

Hey Quilters - I want to make this for my 17 year old neice - how do you think you take into account for the triangles - would making my squares an inch bigger do the trick??????Do you think overall 10x10 squares would come out to a good size?(Im so not a math whiz!!!)![]()
I would go 11x11 to allow for a bit of a seam allowance/fraying which would make it throw size 50x60 ish which is the standard size disney and most others are made.
If you look at my siggy you see the autism puzzle pieces in a mickey head.
I was wondering if I should make a shirt or two for "difficult" days with DS. Hopefully people will just see the shirts and then know why------ is happening. Fill in the blank.
I just bought some of the fabric on Sat and could make two shirts???

Thanks so much - what do you think about the triangly (is that a word?) pieces?????? I am stumped - Do you think a teen would like this? she seems to LOVE anything with hearts, and her birthday was the 13th (i know.....but we havent' celebrated her bday yet - lol)
Yes, I think a teen would like this. I also was thinking if you didn't want to 11x11, not sure if that extra inch makes a difference much, but you could add an extra row of white all the way around, that way the red wasn't touching the edges. Probably more work.
I think the triangly just sew together 2 triangles, but they have to be cut a bit bigger to fit right if that makes sense. I sometimes wonder if I make sense? I have these quilt things called thangles and you can use them to quickly cut the perfect triangle like pieces to make perfect triangles.
ooohhh, I LOVE the idea of the white border around - that'd just be more white squares - easy peasy!!!
It is the size of the triangle pieces that I am unsure of - like would I cut 12x12 squares and cut them in half, swap colors and then sew them together to make an 11x11 square??? would that work????? thanks for working this through with me!!![]()
I just think the picture on them in the stroller here is cute too!
Those pictures are FABULOUS! I LOVE the one of the two of them kissing!
My favorites are by the old door! They are all so cute!
Here's a picture of the packs that I have

You can see - they're all the same color, but different background patterns. They're not cardstock weight, more patterned paper weight.
I LOVED that I could get this in any color from CTMH. I need to find a place that I can purchase all of the different designs, but all in the same color, and not multi-colored. Make sense?
LOVE how this turned out. I had to go buy that fabric because everyone was talking about it. I've washed it, but not cut it out and started to sew anything yet.
So, did Luke and Tessa go to City Hall and get married while they were there?

I am now working on the applique and I have noticed that on tight little circles when I stop and move the fabric, needle down, the stitching edge moves and the circles look uneven.
What am I doing wrong? I really don't want to post the picture as it looks bad.![]()
Is it sacriliage to belong to these creative boards and only plan one custom outfit per day?
Our last trip, I got so bogged down in 2 or 3 customs a day, plus pettiskirts, and hairbows and bracelets and necklaces. Then I had "back up " outfits in case there was spillage. I'm trying to pare down a bit. So how many outfits do you plan a day while at Disney?

Here's what I'd do - start with 1 square of white and one of red cut one inch bigger than the final size and stack them with right sides together. (BTW - If you're doing a quilt that leaves the seams exposed, you'll want to stitch them with wrong sides together to get the seams on the right side.) Draw a line from one corner to another on the bias and then stitch on both sides of the line the usual distance for seam allowance. Once the stitching is done, cut along the drawn line ending up with 2 squares made of 2 triangles, one red and one white. Once you have your squares, if they're a bit too big just trim off the extra to get the right finished size making sure the diagonal seam stays from one corner to the other.
FYI - I think working with squares is simpler because there's less chance of the bias stretching during stitching. Also, you end up with 2 matching squares of triangles.
