Those Sponge Bob jammies are so cute! Where in the store do you find the ribbing? Is it a by the yard kind of thing or is it prepackaged?

It is with the knits. I got it at JoAnns. One of the cutting ladies helped me. It was by the yard in a tube.

My house doesn't like the cold weather. Our phone isn't working but strangely enough the internet does.
The pipes leading to the washing machine froze. I try to keep washing when it gets this cold but apparently I should have run one more load:laundy: .
I have the space heater in the laundry room now so hopefully it won't take long to defrost. They haven't ever burst cross your fingers that they don't break!

I saw how cold you were in Atlanta this morning! Yikes! I hope your pipes don't freeze, that is such a mess! The only thing I know about pipes freezing is to keep the water running (and it sounds like you were trying but I never thought about the washing machine) and to keep your cabinet doors open (like under the sink) so that the hot air can get to them. What about taking a hair dryer to the pipes and blowing? That may be too time consuming, I don't know if it is worth it!

I can't remember if I posted this before...I was looking for CarlaC's bucket hat under shop by author and couldn't find it. Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?

Adorable! It is very similar to the coat I am going to cut out for Nikki! McCalls 4961

Thanks! I have that pattern too, but I found the simplicity one and just like simplicity patterns better that mcCalls!

Ugghhh... I know what you mean! Here in NC we are quite cold as well. I have had the pipes to the washer freeze a lot. Opening cabinets doesn't help..nor does the blow dryer. I have tried to run the dryer and that has helped. Tonight we get down to 9 so I know I will have no hot water in the house tomorrow...even if we let the water drip.

When you get to the home page there is a search feature on the top right. Just type in bucket hat and it will be the second one. It is written by CarlaC and another designer. Maybe that is why it doesn't come up?

I guess I lost my multi quotes from yesterday...

I love the A-line with the Minnie Dot skirt! Very cute outfit!

Cindee - the princesses and the princess poncho are darling!

Stephanie - Thanks! Yes, I think my sister really liked it, but she ended up with a stomach bug the whole time we were at my parent's house so I didn't get much chance to talk with her. I love the wristlets!

That coat is so pretty! Your DD is a cutie for sure! princess:

My baby boy is sick! His temp is 103.5, he keeps moaning, it's so sad!

BTW (my husband do not know about this purchase:rolleyes1 )

Hi my name is Linnette Miller and I have a purse addiction that I been hiding from my husband and family........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi Linnette. It is cute but I must say it should go back to find a new home. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, decades ago in a different life I use to have a Louie Vitton habit. It was terrible to break! I just sold one of my last bags last year on Ebay. I still have 1 very little round coin purse with a strap the hooks and I have the LV wallet. It is a huge reduction for me. I am lucky that out here no one even knows what LV is. I never use either item now.

Finally got 2 more sets finished.. I am on a princess kick I think!

Linnette, I am so happy to see you back. We all worry so much about you and you are in our prayers daily.

I love the fabric, what are you making out of it for the gives?

I sent out the two outfits for the Noah give yesterday and can't wait to see if they like the clothes. I hope they have a great trip.

I made a sundress and have to slip stitch the bodic lining to the waist line. It will take forever so I am going to take a tan and then start.

DH and I have finally reached a compromise on the Disney trip. I have agreed to go in late Sept for F&W, MNSSHP and my birthday. We are going to try to get BCV but it is not my home resort so it may be filled up. Mom is tenative coming with but we won't know until the day we leave. She will go back home early and we will then switch to a 1 br at OKW for the remainder of the trip.

DH will be done with baby step 3 and said he will pay for the trip. I have paid for the last few trips myself. But we are going to try to use our FF miles, stay at DVC. We will have to buy new AP's and we like the dining plan. Just that is over 1K! But I have agreed to the trip as long as I am not expected to use any of my car money. Right now I have $300 in gift cards from QR so I will just try to keep building up gift cards.

There is my Disney plan. More information than anyone needs to know.

Cute dresses Lori!

I did not pick up the fabric on the first trip and then just had to go back for it!!! I did resist the LPS ... but now feel the urge to go back and get it.

Lori

Thanks for the help on the hat!

Linnette, that website redirects me to winfabric.com
Is that right?

If I could sew like you I'd never carry a store bought bag!

The laundry room is the one place where we have the most trouble. The pipes are on an outside wall so that is probably why they froze. The space heater is in there blowing hot air on the wall so hopefully it will defrost it. Before we got the space heater I did use a hair dryer. But then you have to stand in there and hold it.

I usually open the cabinet on the kitchen sink. Unfortunately the Laundry room is just too chilly. My back door is in there and it is very far from the actual furnace so it doesn't get warm in there.
When my Dad has visited he grumbles about the pipes not being insulated and why are they on outside walls etc.etc. It's usually about a once a year thing here.
Finally got 2 more sets finished.. I am on a princess kick I think!

Sounds like a good plan!:thumbsup2 What is QR?
