CLOSED - FRIDGE LOST - The Under-POP-ulated Fridge Swap

I should have read that before my post! They are the basket type filters! And since luthrlovr posted a pic, which looks exactly like my pic (except in mine you can see the carpet in room 4163, 60's section). I was really impressed with the box, it was a little wet from a leak in the cleaner, but I think it dried out okay. The paper towels didn't make it, but I emailed ashm and I think she took a roll of paper towels with her.

What I was truly impressed with was the speed with which luggage services located the fridge and took it to us. I called at about 8:30pm and said I have a box to get, it's a fridge swap fridge, under-POP-ulated, gave my name and room number and she said "yes, it's right here I'll send it right down" and it was there within 10 minutes. I was impressed by that. Gave a $10 tip to the guy and gave a different guy $10 to take it to ashm (and she was also tipping). So hopefully they feel we are good tippers and they will take care of us.

For those whose dates are coming up, please enjoy your trip - it is really such a truly magical place. We did 5 days at Universal, Sea World and Aquatica, then moved to Disney. At the end, my kids declared that Disney is still the best!!

And for the record, Teppan Edo was amazing!! The best meal we had (Cinderella's Royal Table was great but the food wasn't as good as Teppan Edo).

I need to change my dates. I am down for July1-15, 2010. My daughter will be competing in the North American Irish Dance National Competition being held at the Swan/Dolphin. We were going to make it our annual family trip to WDW even though I was not happy about it being over July 4th! We just found out that if we do not stay at Swan/Dolphin we would be charged $100 per person per day to get into competition, even dancer would have to pay this. So now just me and DD will be staying at Dolphin only for 3 days. I am going to WDW 9/25 for FD and will be booking bounceback offer for FD Aug 2010.

So our new dates will be 8/15-8/23 2010 Pop Century. Is the fridge/coffee pot available?

Not a problem!! I switched your dates. Aug is wide open, so when you book, if your dates get altered a bit, it shouldn't be a problem, either.

The Disboards are great! Anything you could possibly want to know you'll find here...and if you can't, then ask. LOL You'll get tons of answers super quick. Just DON'T ask if you can pool hop between resorts, reuse a refillable mug from a previous trip, etc. LOL You'll start some HUGE fights on here & get some nasty responses. For some reason, those topics bring out the worst in some Disers.

But, welcome to the Dis!! You will quickly become addicted if you let yourself.

Just a reminder to everyone...(even though I'm stating the obvious) Please make sure you have the right fridge when it's delivered. Our box clearly states The Under-POP-Ulated Fridge Swap on it and should have your name & info on it as well.

I say this again (even after what we went through w/ the mix-up when our swap started) b/c I got a message from another swap leader here on the Dis & their swapper has the wrong fridge. She didn't say which her swapper had, but she was looking for the correct one...I sent a message to our current swapper, but he's probably having too good a time to check his email or PM's. LOL

So, again, just be sure the fridge is ours & it has your name on it. Thanks all!!

My DD15 started when she was 4 also! I must warn you that if your daughter likes it and stays in Irish Dance, be prepared for it to take over your life!!!! My youngest DD 5 started last year and my DH jokes all the time and tells me "why are we doing this all over again?"!!! But seriously, it has been a great time and we have travelled all over the country and Ireland. DD has made the best group of friends and has been friends with these girls since she was 5. So Good luck and have FUN.
