Who else wants to join? It's FREE!! The daily Disney rental rate is $15 per day plus tax to use one of their fridges. Nonsense. Our's is nicer (has a freezer compartment but some Disney rentals do not) and FREE is a great price!

The price has gone up since we last rented a fridge.

We are now saving $120.00 (US) on the fridge plus we will be saving by ordering grocers so that we can bring some food with us to the parks.

I couldn't believe how much money we saved by ordering bottled water, soda and sport drinks from gardengrocer. At almost $3 a drink in the parks, you could easily spend $40 a day on water/soda for a family of 4. We each take a bottle into the parks with us (nice and cold thanks to our handy dandy fridge) and when they are empty, we refill with water and add flavored pixies like Crystal Lite or Kool Aid to help improve that Florida water taste.

I love helping people to have more affordable trips to Disney. Every penny counts these days and the fridge swaps are just another way to help a fellow DISer.

Yes, I have already thought of that too. We will just have to be creative !!

Considering how much this swap (and the others that I have participated in) has saved me, if I were visiting the World and had a car rental, I would be willing to buy a replacement at a store in Orlando and just donate it. You can typically get the small ones for under $50 so I would still come out ahead vs. renting one !

If all goes well, I will be there in August and then again in late October but lets cross our fingers that the little guy keeps on plugging along!

Happy hump day...which means only 2 more days until my little Vegas get away with the girls .

I am so excited to join this swap, we used our cooler in Dec at Pop and while it worked out well, it wasn't the best, especially since I take alot more water in May. We will also be taking more perishable food in May, so no worries or a million trips to the ice machine.
