"Closed for System upgrade"

I just tried calling to confirm that the MVMCP tickets go on sale tomorrow and got a recording saying they are closed for "system upgrade" and will not reopen till 1 p.m EST tomorrow. I tried the 800#, and the AP number and got same recording on all numbers. Anybodyelse get this?

Isn't that what happened the last time they were changing rates on tickets? It seems like I remember everything going down for a period of a day or so and people weren't sure if they got their ticket orders in or not.

Maybe they are down loading ticket info? Although I wouldn't think the upgrade would take that long. Just a guess!

I'm not surprised. Can you even imagine how many calls they were getting this morning? They need time to put the info into the system so they probably decided to make a recorded message to get the job done.

I believe they will start selling them tomorrow morning as others had reported a while back, May 2. Really, I know it's exciting and all, but what's another day? You'll still have no problem getting your tickets.

Even though the system is still down and I couldn't get my MVMCP tickets, I was able to get my LTT PS. WooHoo!!! So now all I need is for the system to be up so I can get my ticket or I won't be able to use this PS. LOL

I was just told that all PS are taken for 10/26! How can that be?

I dialed the dining number 1-407-939-3463 and spoke with a wonderful CM named Hector. I was calling to ask if LTT was the only PS I could make or if CP would be available as well. I also need to check just to make sure that dining PS could be done at the time of buying the MVMCP ticket since a CM at CRO told me "NO" you can only make dining PS 90 days out even with MVMCP ticket. Hector was able to tell me that yes I could make a PS for LTT now because of MVMCP but not CP. And he offered to go ahead and take my PS now. Apparantly the dining computers are up. So I now have a confirmation number for LTT for 12/17.
He did say that on my night they were almost booked so apparantly many people have been doing this.

I called and asked if I could make a PS for 12/5 for the MVMCP. CM checked and he could. Surprised me because in the past they asked me for my confirmation # for my MVMCP ticket purchase.

But you can make PS now for MVMCP nights so I did for Dec 5. It is ONLY for LTT still though. If you want Crystal Palace or Tony's or Cindy's, it's still 90 days out.

I DID IT!!!! I booked LTT for Oct. 26 at 5:20!! I got a very awesome CM named Samantha! She knew just what to do! I was first told by another CM it was booked for that night so I called back 3 times! Samantha clicked on a special box and up pooped the ressie. I got just what I wanted so don't give up guys. The CMs make mistakes!! I even verified it with her twice. She explained new CMs don't know what to do so call until you get Samantha.

Call back. I got the same answer but he looked into it further and had to call someone to get the 'real' availability and then I had my pick and I'm going Halloween night!

Yippee, I just called WDW Dining and got our PS for Oct. 12 at 5:00. I got a confirmation number and everything.

Thank you so much for posting that if you call Dining you can get your PS BEFORE you get your MNSSHP tickets.

Now all I have to do is wait for the tickets to go on sale and I'm all set.

Thanks guys!!! Just got off the phone with Josie and got my LTT ps's for 11/30. She was a little confused but I hung in there and she finally figured it out. Told me to call back after 1:00 but it would be really busy!!! I never would have called if you guys hadn't posted. Thanks again!!
