Closed Escrow 30 Days ago-Have not heard from dvc.

I closed escrow 30 days ago at OKW.I have not received my welcome kit from DVC.How long does this take?I want to use my points.Please give advice.

I think you need to call member services and ask them why there is a delay. Sounds a little long.

I closed on the 2nd and haven't gotten my welcome package either. But...... I called MS (the week after my closing date) and I was already in the computer and was able to make my ressies!

(I think after the closing it takes a few weeks for the title to get done)

On the up side.... I bought 45 add on points from Disney and have already gotten the paperwork, turned it back in, and made ressies on that one too...

If sales are booming it can take this long. My first resale was during one of the "close out" pushes at BWV and the documents people were backed up. I was in the computer and able to make reservations.

However, I would call just to make sure they have the address right and everything. (On one of my resales the zip got messed up and things got returned to Disney. No big deal!)

It took us at least that long to receive anything on our resale two years ago. We were in the system after about a week and made reservations based on point charts off www.dvcmember.com. Everything you are going to get (except the member card) is out on the website. If you don't know the password, call member services and ask.

Thanks for the help.I called member services and they stated that I was not in the computer.Thus, I screamed at the Title Company and they said that they will send a special courier package to Disney.I also screamed at my sales agent.
Moral to the story.Buy directly from Disney.
PS-I love this board,I just want to belong to DVC.

I'm so sorry that you're having this problem! I used Pat at the Timeshare store and timeshare closing services and they were wonderful! I'm not sure who you used, but maybe try them if you do another add on, or directly from Disney is so much faster. I loved the savings I got from my resale, but I loved the speed in which I got my add on from Disney!
I hope it all works out for you! Let us know when you get to make your first ressies! It'll make it all worth while
