This time tomorrow we will be on the way to the airport and I am not packed yet, all my guys are, but they also were not working all week..

Question, I have a photopass card, what do I do to get the photopass + card, I didn't pay anything for the card, I got a free offer, it confuses me so..

Everyone at Disney can get a photopass card. And all of your pictures at various areas around the park can be uploaded to the card, as well as pictures you take.

The Photopass + card costs $199.95 in the parks and includes the regular photopass pics you can take in the park, plus ride photos and character meals, then you get to keep all of your photos on CD, plus get the park CD as well. It costs $169.95 on pre-order (but you're too close for that). I ordered the Photopass + and got it in the mail within a week!!!

I wouldn't do mears taxi if I were you. We went to seaworld from cbr last year using the mears taxi and it cost us about $60 for 3 of us and it took 45 minutes there and literally 1 1/2 hrs back! I've heard the ttc ( ticket and transportation center) has a bus that will drop you off there for only a few bucks. We will be taking that to seaworld when staying at WL in nov. have fun! I love seaworld!!

Yikes - 1 1/2 hours back? That's crazy. I haven't been to seaworld in eons. I used to live in Southern California and have been to the seaworld in San Diego. But that's been 20 years now. Man, that makes me feel old.

marymac123 - I found this thread about the bus from DTD to Seaworld. It's the Lynx bus, which is supposed to be dirt cheap. I'd found a thread once before that said the bus could take forever, though. There might be other threads over in the Transportation sub forum.

My whole family is from central PA - what county are you in? Mine are from Northumberland & Schuylkill (I live in Northampton county near NJ).

I live in Cumberland County and work in Harrisburg. We have good friends who live in Bath, so we're in that area occasionally. My mom's family is also from Schuylkill County. She grew up in Tower City. I grew up in California, but after my dad died, my mom moved back to this area. I went to law school in Carlisle, where I met my husband, and stayed.

I knew I'd lived here long enough when I could spell Schuylkill without having to google it.

Martin, WL is beautiful at Christmas and it really gets you in the spirit. Your trip sounds wonderful and your family is going to love seeing all the resorts decorated for Christmas. Do you homeschool? What ADRs have you booked?

No, we do not homeschool. We're pulling DS out of school for a week. We believe that time with family is the #1 priority. We always let the teacher know well ahead of time, get home/school work for the week and ensure he does it. I know not everyone shares this view but to each his own. My parents used to pull me and my sister out of school for vacations and we turned out pretty well.

ADRs for Sanaa (the night before we arrive/we're staying in Kissimmee to get an early start the next day), 50's Prime Time Café, Whispering Canyon Cafe(breakfast after our first night), Tony's Town Square, Teppan Edo, California Grill, and Chef Mickey's (breakfast on departure day). We'll obviously be paying a few of those OOP.

So AP discounts are out today thru 9/29. That doesn't help with my October trip but I played around with dates anyway to see what kind of discounts were available. Not much! Either Disney's getting stingy with it's AP discounts or WL is booked pretty full! There is only 10% AP discount for WL bunk room. Bummer! As WDWKook said, no discount for Deluxe rooms (a girl can dream, right?) We really want WL but for whatever reason AKL bunk is coming up 30% off, we'd have to go that route for a $500+ savings. I'll be waiting for the next round of AP discounts & hoping Disney offers something more than 10% for WL!! And I'll be lurking this thread living through everyone else that is there now or going shortly.

Just got an email from Andrew and our room will be all ready for us tomorrow upon our arrival at WL..YEAH

It's official. At least WDW was able to just modify my res without canceling. It would have been too sad to write down a cancellation number! I guess I have the longest time on my ticker now. I wasn't able to get the villas today, but will call back in a few months to see if they have opened them up for us non-DVCers. Had to cancel Royal Pacific because 2013 summer rates are not available there yet. But since our trip is going to be later in August than the one I planned for this year, I don't think we will have a problem. Now to cancel my ADRs. *sigh* The CM on the phone was very nice and said that we will be able to go to the Be Our Guest restaurant and the new Test Track. He was helping me to look forward to it. This may be the longest period of time I have ever continued on the same reservation number! (13 months now and over 2 years by next summer!) All you people going soon-details when you return please! I need to live vicariously for a long time now.

Thanks everyone for the congrats!! We booked "woods view". I requested north wing, outer courtyard and upper floor w/open balcony after much research here on the boards!!
