Thanks to TheLodgeLady:goodvibes, we now have a Club Level (7th floor) map which I've also posted to the CL section on the first page:

FANTASTIC!!

Thank you LodgeLady and WWWKOOK!

Your hard work is greatly appreciated!!! :thumbsup2

We will be staying at WL in November for 1 week. We planned on using ME and Disney transportation but I recently read a trip report that suggested renting a car anyway. We really only plan to go to the parks and possibly downtown Disney. What do you guys think? My DD will be almost 3 when we go so waiting for transportation might be an issue.

As long as I'm staying onsite I don't rent a car. I've just never seen the need for it. My youngest two grandkids starting going when they were 6 months old ... now 11 and 13 and were always fine on the Disney transportation.

Thanks for the map!:cool1:

The CL rooms do not span the entire length of the resort???? Just the courtyard right above Silver Springs??? I did NOT know this!!!

Will you be checking-in with us on vacation?

I don't want to bring my laptop, but we'll have my son's Ipod Touch, so I may now that there's wi-fi.

Which brings me to another question--is there a charging dock thing in the room for Ipods?

The clock in your room should charge your iPod (can't remember what they're called - i something, I'm sure :)). They work with iPod touches and older iPhones. Pretty sure the dock wasnt shaped right for an iPhone 4.

Agreed. My kids 1st trip was when they were 3 and 5, and we've always used the Disney transportation and they've been fine. I personally see no reason to rent a car when I'm at Disney. I like to let them do the driving. :goodvibes

Thanks so much WDWKOOK! I have been reading for too long and want to finally participate with fellow Disney Lovers!

The reason I ask that is when I try to book a Deluxe Studio at the Villas in December when you go through the whole process it lists under the deluxe studio listing as this: "All Villas have one queen-size bed with a queen-size sleeper sofa, mini-kitchen with sink, table and chairs, ceiling fan, vanity area with 2 sinks, bathroom, private balcony or patio. All rooms are non-smoking. Amenities include a mini-fridge, microwave, DVD player, in-room wall safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, Pack 'n Play® playard and coffeemaker. A crib is available upon request. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. These rooms offer views of the pool, woodlands, courtyard or the Resort hotel."

But I have read everywhere about the double or a full? So that is what I was wondering are they in the process of chaining these sleepers out? Thanks again!!!

The 7th floor is the only floor like that. In this photo, you can see where the 7th floor rooms end (upper left) and to the left of those rooms (green roof) begin the 6th floor dormer rooms:

The iHome works with an iPhone 4. You may have to take it out of its case and/or bring your charging adaptor to find the sweet spot. No fitment issues with all other iPhones, Touches, iPods though.

We're glad you've come out of lurkdom:goodvibes. Yes, lots of conflicting info. out there to wade through. I noticed the "full" description, too on the WDW site, but all other sources say it's a double. There haven't been any room changes that I'm aware of. Hopefully, someone who has actually stayed in the Studio will confirm that the sleeper is a doublepopcorn::

Thank you LodgeLady and KOOK ! I never realized the CL rooms didn't go down the full length of the resort as well.
The room I mentioned the other day that we like is actually the last room in the wing (7127) and it faces straight out to the courtyard. It's the highest room to the left in the photo above. To the right of it is the Presidential Suite (7123) and its 4 balconies.

We'll be checking in NEXT month!!!! :woohoo:

So Kook, if I understanding that map correctly, the CL rooms are sort of "clustered" around the courtyard???? :confused3

From the DVC website:
Here is a description of the Studio at VWL
Deluxe Studio

1 queen-size bed and 1 full-size sofa bed
TV and DVD player with remote, AM/FM clock radio
Iron and ironing board
Kitchenette with microwave, mini-refrigerator, wet bar and coffee maker
4 paper plates & bowls, 4 sets of plastic flatware, 4 glasses, 2 coffe mugs, ice bucket
Private porch or balcony

It also says the one and two bedrooms have the queen size sofa beds...

From what I recall and in the other studios we have stayed in, the pull out bed is a full size

Thanks for this! However, can you guys help out a directionally-challenged WL newbie? Which is the NORTH Wing, Yellowstone suite or Yosemite Suite? Where is MK in relation to this map?

I've printed the map and I'm making notes on it (room types, noise, favorites, bunk beds, etc), but I just realized I don't even know if the part I think is North IS North! :rotfl2:

Thanks

Thanks

In this case, north is North. The north wing is the one on the top of the page and the MK is above that (think above the page). :)

We just checked in! We have been assigned a refurbed bunk bed room. Pics to come. I love the 'lounge.'. So nice Looking out at the lobby! I don't think my daughters going to want to leave the crayons =)

Last March, the DVC Villas did not have a radio with an Iphone charging doc :( I don't know why, if maybe they are not replacing them once they brake or disappear. I would take a charger just in case.
