You know, with all this talk of coffee has me thinking about room service. The WL has awesome room service. We have had some of the best steaks delivered to our room. :thumbsup2 And one trip I caught a bad cold. So, over several nights I had a carafe of hot tea with lemom slices and honey delivered. Maybe it was just because of being at the WL. But that was the best hot tea.

:thumbsup2 thanks for sharing that! But how awful getting sick on vacay!

Kook: Just wanted to come over and visit your "home" to say congrats on booking WL CL for spring break!! :woohoo::woohoo: Now you have 2 trips in the works!!

It pays to pick up a phone and ask, doesn't it?? :goodvibes And you might be able to meet up with Pas!!
The welcome mat is always out for you and your post prompted me to look again at your groovy thread. It's such a helpful and informative first page:thumbsup2

Pas130 has already "moved on" from the CR to the Poly and landed at the GF - just today! I don't think I'll be able to find her, especially if they bump her out of the GF again:sad2:

EVERYTHING seems to taste better with room service, doesn't it?

For those of you wondering where to buy the Cuisinart commercial two-cup compatible pods (and yes, they have flavored ones;)), I looked on Amazon, and it seems they are compatible with the Senseo pods that you can find just about everywhere, like grocery stores:

http://www.amazon.com/Senseo-4-Flavor-Coffee-Variety-18-Count/dp/B002PXBFCW/ref=pd_sim_k_5

Do they have the flavored ones at WL? How cool would that be :goodvibes.
But my guess is just the regular & decaf, with the white powder that seems to pass for cream

You know, if this was any other board, I would've thought to myself "Why on earth are we talking about coffee?! Talk about the resort!!!". However, since this is disney, I am 110% okay with this topic. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Personally I don't drink coffee straight ( but love it in mixed drinks), yet listening to people talk about it makes me thirsty for some. :surfweb: <<< see? :rotfl:

I asked this on the main boards yesterday and thought maybe someone on this thread could help answer my questions.

I have a question on the WL courtyard view bunkbed locations and views from the room locations. I just switched from regular courtyard view yesterday with the new 30% off room discount (saved $330 on 3 nights 4-28-12 to 5-1-12 making a short visit on our way back from a 7 night Fantasy Disney cruise). The discounted rooms were only for the courtyard view with bunkbeds so I had to change my location preferance.

Now our last 3 years at the WL my family has been lucky enough to have our room request granted each time for aone of the BEAR faced rooms looking directly east over the courtyard, pool, geyser, and bay.

I would like to know where the Wilderness Lodge bunkbed rooms are located and if there are preferenced rooms I should ask for when my vacation gets closer.

In the past we always requested the BEAR faced rooms and loved them so I am hoping someone can provide me with the perfect bunkbed room views of the pool and bay to request come April 28th 2012. Thank you in advance!

I'm sorry, but I don't know what the room numbers are for the Courtyard View Bunk Bed rooms. If you want to look out at the geyser/pool/lake then make sure you request an INNER COURTYARD room. I hope you have a great visit!

One more day until our FIRST stay at WL and DH's FIRST Xmas Visit :yay:
How exciting! You've picked the perfect resort for your DH's first December stay:thumbsup2. Have a great time!

Even though we have never stayed at Wilderness Lodge we have visited it plenty and it is SOOOO Beautiful at Christmas.

We happened to end up there one time for Dinner when they were having the Hand Bells Concert.....Very nice.

Enjoy your Vaca.....
Let us see some pics.:)

Oh, are the courtyard rooms where the bunkbeds are? We are booked for courtyard thanks to the recent discount and my DD would love a bunkbed if they were available. Is that something that I'd make for a room request prior to checking in?

Courtyard view Bunk Bed rooms are another bookable category, costing more money. If you would like a bunk bed, and don't mind spending the money, you should book one. It's not a request. ;)

Ok, thanks for the tip! I'll sleep on it. No pun intended. :flower3:

Can someone please tell me if WL has some sort of holiday entertainment in the lobby EVERY Sunday evening in December?

I was only there for one Sunday last Christmas, so I can't really answer your question, but here is the list of activities from last year:

Now I am craving the Mickey waffles with strawberries....Best when eaten outside listening to the sound of the waterfall!

Does anyone know if they show movies on the beach at WL in December? Or is it just the campfire movies at FW?

And ... if they do show movies, anyone know the schedule for next week?

Thanks a million! :goodvibes
