First off you can't go too wrong at WL, so anywhere will be fine. It is a small enough resort that you can get wherever you want in about five minutes.
If you wind up with a Standard view room, you will likely be in the middle section of the North wing. The other standard view rooms are in the lobby section of the South wing. The map in
this post shows the potential locations.
Personally we enjoy being close to the lobby, since the open hallways are beautiful. There is some afternoon noise from the WCC restaurant in the lobby though. Roaring Fork, the resort's Quick Service restaurant is in the middle of the North wing on the first floor, so it is closer to North wing rooms than those in the South wing.
For transportation, the boat dock is beyond the East end of the North wing, and the buses are at the opposite corner of the resort South of the lobby. For Epcot, the bus tends to be the quickest way, but another option is to take the boat to CR and then monorail to TTC to catch an Epcot monorail. Another alternative is to bus to HS then walk or boat to the International Gateway side of Epcot.
So, for you any of the Standard view rooms in the North wing will be relatively close to food, and about halfway between your transportation options, so you should be fine. Many people request a high floor to be a little quieter and have a chance at seeing Wishes in the distance. Happy planning and enjoy your trip.
