I'm contemplating changing to the contemporary from the poly due to the construction. Can someone tell me what are the pluses/minuses of BLT v. the garden rooms? What category of rooms is in the part where the monorail goes through? I see there is a big upcharge for BLT. I have not been to WDW in 25 years (when I was a kid) and will be bringing a 5 yo and infant. We will come back to the room in the afternoon for naps/pool time.
There are 3 buildings at The Contemporary (CR). The main tower (that the monorail goes through), the garden wing, which is a 3 story building adjacent to the CR, and BLT which is the vacation club villas, BLT and CR are "connected" via a sky bridge between the two.
Hope that helps a bit.

Help!!
Let's see…from a BLV room it's much closer, later at night, louder and not backwards. There's really nothing "wrong" at all with watching it from a TPV room so enjoy and thanks for mentioning that you can also see it from a TPV.
