Have a wonderful time Kerry. Will be looking forward to seeing pictures of our happy place.

. I am hoping we make it in time, I've been watching our flight all week, and it's been a bit delayed each night, but last night the flight from Mpls didn't take off until after the connecting flight from Atlanta took, so those people didn't make it. I sure hope that doesn't happen tomorrow, or I have rental car and lost point issues
Just received a call from WDTC who said that they wish to move us to another resort for our dates in late October. They said it's because of a refurbishment. I said that I'd read it was to be completed end of September; the representative said it has been extended.
So far I haven't made any decision; need to talk with my husband about what he wants to do. I'm just puzzled about 1) Is there really continuing refurb at BWI 2) How can we be moved to another resort that shows no availability

YC which would be great also for F & W, but no refurb rooms till 2015. We stayed there last Dec 2010 (the year mid Dec was freezing!). Other choice was GF which has been recently refurbished, but would require 20 minute? monorail ride instead of walking in.

We were at the BWI club level from Sept.23-30 and did notice that all the garden suites were being painted so I know they are currently not being used. When we got off the elevators on the 4th floor and turned right towards the CL the hallway to the left had a big "sorry for the mess" type sign but I'm not sure if any of these rooms were being used or not. So sorry that you are being asked to switch resorts that would have really upset me. The trip from the GF to Epcot to me is really inconvenient since you have to walk through Epcot to get to the world showcase and the food and wine festival. Is there any chance that you can stay at the BWI?
