For those wondering about busses, we just were picked up at 7:59 for Mk, stopped at swan at 8:04, dolphin@ 8:08, then to MK..arriving at depot at 8:19.
Just checked in. Standard view. Just knew something was up when they got on the phone. Major pixie dust! Club level for first time ever! Hope wifey doesn't get used to it. Off to Mk on a magical morning..

That's so cool! You know they are going to suck you in . . .
That sounds great! I was wondering - going to stay at BWV month. And congrats on your upgrade!

So jealous! It was influenced by nobody getting on at swan but my advice is to make sure you get first bus exactly an hour before. Gotta go. Rope drop in a few.![]()
You mean first but before park opening? So if MK opens at 9 get on bus at 8?
Sounds like a great vacation and I'll log your dates. We're back from our 8 night stay @ BWI CL and had a blast. The friendliness of every single CM, from the mousekeepers you pass in the hall, the folks working the front door directing vehicles and people and the CL staff is remarkable.
We'd booked 2 rooms and requested they be close to the lounge and close to each other. We were steps away from the lounge in adjoining rooms. It was very convenient for our party of 7.
In fact, I had such a good time, I've talked my DSis into a long weekend (3/27-3/31) to go back to the BWI and see the Flower and Garden Show![]()
What are your plans if/when you return? Would you go at a different time of the year for better temps and would you change your usual requests?Just got back from our week stay at the BWI. All CM's were great to deal with and my only complaint was both our requests were ignored. I thought being all the way down at room 5001(1 bedroom villa) was going to be bad, but it really wasn't too bad.
Well, I do have another complaint. Our magic bands were almost useless trying to get the front gate to open whenever we went off property in our car. I literally had to hang out the window, take off the band and press it really hard to get the gate to lift. The security guard stood there and just watched me struggle.
The weather the first half was great, the last half, not so much.
Make sure you add a view request to your reservation. The STD Views include garden, parking lot area and canal area. A Garden/Epcot View is a popular request. I'll add your dates to the BBMy boyfriend and I are planning his first trip (my 5th) to WDW October 26-November 3. We can't wait! We've never been to BWI. We 'll get a standard view.
I'm anxious to read through the thread and learn![]()

Looking forward to your TR! It's always best to email Guest Communications. They will acknowledge receipt of your comments and they will ensure that your comments are received by the resort. I always email them after our vacation and they've always responded:Does anyone have a contact for a manager at BWI? We just got back from a wonderful stay there, and I would like to tell them about the best housekeeper we have ever had at a resort. I didn't get a chance to say anything while we were there, but I think credit should be given when it is due.
Also, I'm going to post a review and pictures soon!
Thanks!!
The calendar is hyperlinked in Post 1 and is available HERE, but the February calendar hasn't been posted yet on MouseSavers - sorry. Sometimes it can take up to a week into the new month.Anyone have an events/movies list for February yet? Or anyone who's there that can share? Thanks!
That's an awesome upgrade from a non-CL room! But, don't get those hopes up because you'll both probably get used to CLJust checked in. Standard view. It won't be long now - happy travels! Can't wait to be at the boardwalk. We arrive Saturday. So excited!!! Our first time there.
Hopefully, one of our DVC experts will comment soon.I booked a 2br villa at bcv about 2 weeks ago for the end of August since there was no availability at bwv. This is a trip reward from hubby's work so we have to use a certain ta and can't rent points. I've been checking disneys website regularly in case something becomes available at bwv but no luck so far with over 6 months to go. Does anyone know if there's a CHANCE that something could become available or am I wasting my time? I'm not familiar with how the DVc rooms work if members give up their weeks. Tia

At 60 days out, any unbooked DVC points inventory gets turned over to Disney Reservation Center to sell, so you might find a two bedroom available 60 days out since you are booking during a not so busy DVC time.

In addition to what Deb & Bill said, any points used for non-villa stays (cruises, adventures by Disney, Disney hotel stays, etc.) get converted to Disney inventory for cash bookings. I have no idea how the specific dates get allocated, though (your dates as opposed to some other dates), since DVC points are given on an annual basis. In any case, it is worthwhile to keep trying. Good luck!!

I'm not sure if that's TiggerAlly's meaning, but that is what we do when trying to make rope drop at MK and AK. Get on a bus about 1 hour before park opening. (There will be earlier buses because there are character meals that start before those parks open and they'll provide transportation for those folks. But, you'll need an ADR to get into the park.)
