BWV will be there for a future stayWe are BWV owners as of 2013 and stayed for our first time there in March. We had a one bedroom standard view. I was blown away - thought the view was great! Loved watching the fireworks and we had one of those lucky rooms that some people wrote about on the corner that was quite roomy. We had a two bedroom booked for December for a split stay with our other home resort 3 nights there and 4 night AKV, but the family voted when our 7 month window opened up and I could book 7 nights at BCV we decided to switch our ressie there. I do plan to go back to BWV again on our next visit after that!

For a Standard View booking you would request "Epcot View." Though it isn't a bookable view, the Room Assignor will know what you mean. OCI requests are very limited and not always even applicable to your particular booking. It's always best to call the WDTC/CRO and add any requests to your reservation. The Room Assignor will see both called-in and OCI requests, so make sure they don't conflict.I will be arriving to BWI 6 days from now for my FIRST stay at this resort!
I am hoping to get a room facing EPCOT, how do I ask for such a room. I noticed in pre-checking the best I could do is ask for Highest Level. Should I call in to ask?
Welcome and I'll add your dates to the BoardWalk Bulletin. My answer is to book a split stay. We are staying at both BWI and WL next month and if you need more VWL information, the hyperlink is in my signatureBooked BWV for September 6-13. First time staying here. Love Epcot area, but I keep going back and forth between VWL (DH's favorite is the Magic Kingdom) and here. We have stayed at VWL before, but never at BWV...any thoughts???

Did you request Club Level or book it? This is a bookable category. There are king beds on the Club level, we have had one and it is right across from the lounge. the views are either of the gardens or BW, which is the lake, BW and Y&BC. Enjoy your trip.Hey....DW and I will be staying at BWI for the first time from Oct. 24-Nov. 1. We have requested a Club Level room, but in reading the posts, I'm worried about some of the requests I have made. Hoping someone can tell me if I have made the right requests!
First, we have requested a King Bed. I think I have read that they are available on CL, but would like to confirm.
Also, I requested a BW view, thinking that would also include a view of the lake. Now, I'm not so sure! We would really like to have a room with a balcony that would have a view on the BW, with the lake as well. Will a BW view provide that or should I have asked for another view?
Sorry for the questions, but just want to make sure we have made the right requests!
Thanks!!
Eagerly awaiting first photos of the newly refurbished BWI rooms, particularly interested to see what the new bathroom/sink area looks like after hearing about the new design from CM pals.
What have you heard so far?
Can you tell me what the coffee maker is like on the Inn side? I searched and could not find it.
Thanks
Can't wait to see some photos of the reahb.Did you request Club Level or book it? This is a bookable category. There are king beds on the Club level, we have had one and it is right across from the lounge. the views are either of the gardens or BW, which is the lake, BW and Y&BC. Enjoy your trip.
Thanks....yes, we did book club level, poor choice of words by me! But I wanted to make sure by requesting BW view, that would include the water as well. Had somebody on the phone tell me that was not correct, so wanted to confirm.
First time staying at BWI....all other visits have been at WL or GF. But since so much of time is spent at F&W, seemed to make perfect sense to stay closer to Epcot. Oct. 24 cannot get here soon enough!
Thanks!
You will love the Innkeeper's Club. BWI is my all time favorite place to stay. We will be there Oct. 15-22. The BW views are great, looking out at Crescent Lake at the Y&B Club. We love sitting on the balcony at night and watching the entertainment. If the King bed is most important to you, put that as your first request. The 2 king rooms we have stayed in are BW views. Like I said before, my favorite room is right across from the lounge. The cast have become very close to us and are like family.
Enjoy your trip.
dansdad is correct that they are the Cuisinart pods that make individual cups of coffee. Here is a close-up:Can you tell me what the coffee maker is like on the Inn side? I searched and could not find it.

I thought I would have some to share in less than a month, but I changed our reservation from BWI to YC-CLEagerly awaiting first photos of the newly refurbished BWI rooms, particularly interested to see what the new bathroom/sink area looks like after hearing about the new design from CM pals.
. I had been checking for weeks and a room opened up so I grabbed it. If someone doesn't post any rehabbed room photos before I get there, I will ask to see a new room when I go over to take photos. If I can see one, I should have some room photos posted here around 6/23 or 6/24.Welcome! I'll log your dates and leave the recommendation to the BWV experts. We will be staying in a 2br villa June 24-29we have a pool garden view...any suggestions on an area to suggest?
Can't wait to return to BWI in August. We stayed in a deluxe CL room at WL 2 years ago just after the rehab and we really loved it. Last year we stayed in 1BR CL Suite at BC and were very dissapointed. This year we're returning the BWI in a deluxe CL room. From what I'm reading on this thread it looks like we'l be there just after the rehab of the club and club level rooms. Can't wait to see some photos of the reahb.

Welcome and I'll log your dates. You probably already know all this, but just to clarify, only the Deluxe CL rooms have a guaranteed BW/Crescent Lake view, but all ten have two queens. The Standard CL room views are by-request only and can be a BWV or a GV, as Kerry posted. If you request both a King and a BWV, your chances might be less since there are few rooms like this. The CL lounge does have a balcony, but the view is of the Quiet Pool and Garden Cottages below. You can also watch Illuminations from the Innkeeper's Club balcony:Great.....I have stayed club level at WL, but DW has never been on club level and we have heard such great things about the Innkeeper's Club and the CM's.....very excited to experience. The idea about being able to take a break from time to time and sit out on the balcony and enjoy the Lake and the Boardwalk were big factors in selecting BWI.
We will be there Oct. 24-Nov. 1.....can't get here soon enough.
Thanks so much for the great info. I'm sure I will have more questions!
I know you can ask for a blender if you are staying in a studio, but did anyone know if I can, staying in a studio? I drink protein shakes for breakfast and a blender would make things do much easier.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using DISBoards
In any event, you can request a blender if you are staying in a studio. Anyone at DVC can request a blender, but they are in the "based on availability" list.Thanks....yes, we did book club level, poor choice of words by me!
