Congratulations on booking! Will you be at the resort to utilize the lounge? Will you use the IPO?

Yippee! There is entertainment on the BoardWalk which is lots of fun and little shops to wander in to. Walking to Epcot and DHS is so convenient. You can also eat on the BW, YC/BC and Swolphin. You can also walk to Fantasia Gardens golf. Also, there is a Hess gas station right across the street from BWI, should you need something.

Janet, you're the best! As you can tell by my text a little while ago, my DH is doing the countdown of sleeps. Every day I get an e-mail at work with the number of sleeps left. Down to 3!

I am so looking forward to BWI. It is a bit of a splurge for me and I'm going to drink it all in! We'll actually spend some time at the resort because DH is not a theme park guy. It will be a much different vacation than those I take with my DD at Pop. It's great how Disney offers something for everyone!

Kook, this thread has been terrific. I so appreciate your keeping it up to date and full of such useful information. You made my planning easy peasy!

There aren't any parking lot views with a CL room. The STD CL room is the only standard-sized CL room you can book. It can be a view of the BW/Crescent Lake or the Gardens/pool/Epcot. You can place a view request in your reservation by emailing the IPO. The STD CL rooms are located on the 4th floor, which is the same floor as the lounge and all rooms will have a balcony.

Somewhere, just in the last month or so, I found a simple diagram of BWV Boardwalk-view room locations. It's a diagram, not a photo, presented as if you're looking at BWV from the lake, and shows boxes stacked up to represent the various rooms. The room types are color-coded to show what kind of room each one is e.g. dedicated studio is one color, lockoff studio is another color, etc. and the room number is also shown.

I want to share that link with DD - we've scored a GV for next January and I want her to know where our villa might be! We're the planners for our trip and so excited - it will be our first full-family trip since January 2007, and we've added a SIL and a DGD since then!

Do you know where I can find that diagram, or something similar???

For those of you down there now, how is Luna Park pool? Is it open gain?

We depart for BWI this coming Sat., March 9 for a week. We just received a letter from Disney in the mail this weekend telling us that the Luna Park pool will not be open during our stay . Other than that minor disappointment we are PACKED, AND READY TO FLY. So looking forward to warm weather and the incredible flower and garden show awaiting our arrival.

Does anyone who has stayed CL at BWI know if they have IPOD players in the rooms?
