No, I am good, for today....second guessing the BLT stay....or no more split and doing all BWI...:confused3

I would keep BLT I do think it is perfect for your clan but I told you that back when you were booked there for the entire trip. If it is the Decor of BLT why not do 2 nights at GF or Poly then instead?

I have to say I was just looking at the pics of the Lobby again and I am in Love, it is funny since I liked the YC lobby, same with WL and the draw to GF for me was always the lobby but the BW really is beautiful, KOOK found just the right pictures :cloud9: If I do not care for my balcony view I might just go spend some time sitting in the Lobby :goodvibes

Debateing about going to my Dr Appt. The darn snow from last night was suppose to be all melted but its not the road looks like crap...what to do :confused3

The roads were a mess last night....and it's raining here now...probably not the best Drs day for you  I like BLT, but for such a short stay and teeny discount....I decided to change to VWL. Just for one night so we can check the place out, then I get an extra BWI day...All Good!!!

Sounds like a plan, easy access to MK and your kids can get rid of some of that rowdiness at WCC maybe? I can just picture them running around the restaurant on there stick horses :rotfl:

I rescheduled my appt for this coming Thurs :) Hopefully the weather will be better then.

DH just saw one of the WDW commercials and comes asking me if we have 30% off.........duh anyhow I was just priceing out POP for Christmas, I actually was hopeing the reg rooms at AOA were available during the BB dates but nothing showed up. I am thinking I might just book POP its 25% off with the BB just to hold something only thing I will need to do it while DH is in the bathroom or something I do not want to get into the He does not want to stay value. :rotfl:

But hey if money is tight ya know? These Dr visits and meds are killing me. He has a physical tomorrow , then Thursday is my Cardiologist, I had one for the Plumonary guy tomorrow but I cancelled that have to call and reschedule and my Kidney doc is end of the month ugh
Getting old sucks

Your DH is a piece of work  My DH tries to change the channel with any hint of a WDW commercial :confused3

I've heard that about getting old ;) I hope you're able to squeeze your visits in, and no changes to your meds until after...March :goodvibes

Had the same effect on me KOOK outdid herself with this Thread!

I was over checking out easyWDW looking for information on the resorts and Christmas time and I just have to stay at the BW for Christmas now.

Thanks for making this thread. Love all the info. We will be staying at BWV in September.
I'm glad you found your way over from the WL thread:goodvibes. I hope you let us know how you liked your BWV stay.

This time tomorrow we will at BWV!!Thanks for all the info and great pics!!
That means you're there NOW! Hope you're having a fantastic vacation.

This is great! Thanks for creating it. We are staying at BWV for the first time in June and can't wait!
 savannahcat! I'm glad you like the new thread and I hope you'll let us know how you liked your stay. June is just around the corner:)

Just back from my first boardwalk trip and loved it! We were located the first room above the sweets place. We loved our room view. The room was clean and in good working order. The customer service was awesome.

The greeter called us by name as we got out of the car and walked in with us. She checked me in in the lobby without me having to go to the desk.

We had bfast at kouzzina one morning and the frappe was to die for! We went to jellyrolls one night and it was a blast. We enjoyed the action of the boardwalk and the entertainment.

The only thing we didn't like was the same things we have read from others. Lack of a true counter service was slightly annoying. Not being able to refill mugs and having to hand them over was a pain. We just cant understand why they can't find one place to put a least one refill station.

The only other thing that we commented on was that we loved the theming and we wished that the swan and dolphin would just disappear. We felt it was really over-powering. We kept noticing it like a sore thumb at boardwalk, Epcot, even noticed it in the distance when on the monrorail heading to MK.

We did a split stay between bw and grand Floridian and we liked them both very much. We felt more at home at boardwalk though.
What did you eat at Kouzzina? Did you try the new skillet? Did you book a Bounceback? Thank you for posting your TR here:thumbsup2

HRH approves So I have changed to BWI CL :woohoo: The first two nights we are at BLT (I plan on boating over to visit WL)
If Her Royal Highness approved the latest change to BWI, then all is good:goodvibes. I guess you won't be boating over to WL though since you're staying a night at VWL? What BWI room type did you book?

New thread looks great. I only have one quibble: when you say 3227/3229 are adjoining, they are right next to each other (as are 3225/3227) but they do not connect--we just stayed in 3227 and my aunt and uncle in 3229 over Christmas--there was definitely not an interior connection between the rooms (though I did get some pictures over the balcony wall!).

I'm not certain, but I believe that the only two Deluxe rooms that adjoin are 3227 and 3229:confused3. I got that information from Cara Goldsbury's site that's linked on the first page.

Adjoining means they are next to each other, but do not connect.

That's correct! Connecting means they would have a connecting door.

I am beyond Excited.... 12/14/12-12/15/12 at one of the value hotels and then it is DVC..Boardwalk 12/16/12-12-22/12.. YEAH BABY!!
All the 12s started making me dizzy:laughing:. Congratulations on booking your December trip!!!!!

For those who have never been to the ESPN Club here are some pictures of their various items which I have had last month and these pictures were taken with my BlackBerry.

Chicken Wings

Macho Nachos For Two

ESPN Dinger Sandwich

The Angus Chuck Burger
Thank you for posting those photos - don't you just love those names?!

I have to add my kudos to WDWKOOK for a job well done on this new thread. The photos and information at the beginning make it so easy to see everything that the BW has to offer. Well done! :goodvibes
Oh, thank you so much. It was no treble at all:laughing:. Don't be a stranger, neighbor!

 I am sure we will (if I stay there ;))

Resistance is futile. MUST-BOOK-BWI... Is that how it all went down? (Thank you for your kind comments, BTW:goodvibes).

Even without phone service, she'd find a way to change. Does the WDTC do telepathic changes?:teleport:

I told her the same thing waaaaaaaay back when. Did she listen?:sad2:

You know, the lobbies are under utilized. I think WDW has some of the best lobby theming. I love to sit in the WL or the other MK resort lobbies and people watch. I actually love watching families check-in and greeters greet. We all tend to go-go-go when we're at WDW, and sometimes I force myself to stop and take it all in, of course, DD13 finds it rather boring:snooty:

Thank you so much for making such a fantastic thread :thumbsup2:worship:\

Awwww, I'm so glad you are enjoying the new thread. Will you be reporting live from BWV? What villa type did you book. It's almost time to start packing:hyper:

Thank you for the link with all those fun photos:thumbsup2.

Speaking of links... I added more Swolphin dining menu links to the first page. (Thanks again to lovesdumbo for mentioning about breakfast at Fresh.)

We love to do this, too (much to our son's dismay). Especially loved it at WL, where we could sit by the fire in that little sitting area above the lobby -- on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you know what I mean? You're removed from all the hustle & bustle of the lobby activity but have the perfect view of it all. :thumbsup2 At BWI, unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the lobby the same way. We were there during the Christmas season, and the lobby was packed in the evenings with people coming to see the gingerbread gazebo & other decorations. Kind of a bummer, though it's all so pretty I can understand why everyone wants to see it. BWI does have little seating areas, too, but you can't see the lobby or even the boardwalk from them, so we didn't use them.

Well, we just got back home on Saturday from an incredible stay at the Boardwalk Inn and Villas. We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights and the Villas for 4 nights. I will try my best to post pictures this weekend.

Awesome start to another wonderful thread about the BWI. We just came back from another wonderful stay club level.:cool1: We were in one of our favorite rooms 4261 which is located right before you use your key to access the innkeepers.:cool1: The lounge was not busy until the weekend. The food offerings were yummy as always.:cloud9: We ate at Flying Fish, Artist Point and Raglan Road. Off property we ate at Charlys Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze and a wonderful Japanese Restaurant. The parks were not too crowded except for you guessed it, the weekend. We could not do as much as we are used to as DH blew his knee out and was on crutches. By the time we go back the end of April hopefully he will be good as new. On the previous thread sfbank mentioned the entertainers on the boardwalk. There are some new entertainers who think that Brian the Magician should be gone. He is the only Entertainer that you will find in the lobby or up in the lounge when it is cold or raining. In fact, the one night it did get chilly so he came to the lounge. He made all of us who were there participate. We had loads of fun. Our next trip is the end of April.:cool1:

Hi friend :wave2:

 Hello, my dear friend! :goodvibes I am so glad you found the new thread...why in the world didn't I think to let you know it was up!:confused3 I'm sorry, but glad you are here now. KOOK does a remarkable job with FAQ threads (she hosts the WL FAQ as well).

Lots of great info here...you must be getting excited now! Oh, by the way...I say go with Cape May for the evening with the munchkins - that way no chance of running into mom and dad.:thumbsup2 I think you'll enjoy it more than the Garden Grille. ::yes::
