)
KOOK did such a FANTABULOUS job, how could we resist![]()
Uh Oh..............pas back away from the phone, back away now
BoardWalk
No, I am good, for today....second guessing the BLT stay....or no more split and doing all BWI...![]()
I would keep BLT I do think it is perfect for your clan but I told you that back when you were booked there for the entire trip. If it is the Decor of BLT why not do 2 nights at GF or Poly then instead?
I have to say I was just looking at the pics of the Lobby again and I am in Love, it is funny since I liked the YC lobby, same with WL and the draw to GF for me was always the lobby but the BW really is beautiful, KOOK found just the right picturesIf I do not care for my balcony view I might just go spend some time sitting in the Lobby
Debateing about going to my Dr Appt. The darn snow from last night was suppose to be all melted but its not the road looks like crap...what to do
The roads were a mess last night....and it's raining here now...probably not the best Drs day for youI like BLT, but for such a short stay and teeny discount....I decided to change to VWL. Just for one night so we can check the place out, then I get an extra BWI day...All Good!!!
DH just saw one of the WDW commercials and comes asking me if we have 30% off.........
Getting old sucks
Sounds like a plan, easy access to MK and your kids can get rid of some of that rowdiness at WCC maybe? I can just picture them running around the restaurant on there stick horses
I rescheduled my appt for this coming ThursHopefully the weather will be better then.
DH just saw one of the WDW commercials and comes asking me if we have 30% off.........duh anyhow I was just priceing out POP for Christmas, I actually was hopeing the reg rooms at AOA were available during the BB dates but nothing showed up. I am thinking I might just book POP its 25% off with the BB just to hold something only thing I will need to do it while DH is in the bathroom or something I do not want to get into the He does not want to stay value.
But hey if money is tight ya know? These Dr visits and meds are killing me. He has a physical tomorrow , then Thursday is my Cardiologist, I had one for the Plumonary guy tomorrow but I cancelled that have to call and reschedule and my Kidney doc is end of the month ugh
Getting old sucks
Thank you so much for making such a fantastic thread\
I am looking forward to my first BWV visit in a month and this thread has helped get me more excited than I was!!!
I can't wait!!!![]()
I hope you have a great time.I am beyond Excited.... 12/14/12-12/15/12 at one of the value hotels and then it is DVC..Boardwalk 12/16/12-12-22/12.. YEAH BABY!!
I'm glad you found your way over from the WL threadThanks for making this thread. Love all the info. We will be staying at BWV in September.
That means you're there NOW! Hope you're having a fantastic vacation. This time tomorrow we will at BWV!!Thanks for all the info and great pics!!
This is great! Thanks for creating it. We are staying at BWV for the first time in June and can't wait!
What did you eat at Kouzzina? Did you try the new skillet? Did you book a Bounceback? Thank you for posting your TR hereJust back from my first boardwalk trip and loved it! We were located the first room above the sweets place. We loved our room view. The room was clean and in good working order. The customer service was awesome.
The greeter called us by name as we got out of the car and walked in with us. She checked me in in the lobby without me having to go to the desk.
We had bfast at kouzzina one morning and the frappe was to die for! We went to jellyrolls one night and it was a blast. We enjoyed the action of the boardwalk and the entertainment.
The only thing we didn't like was the same things we have read from others. Lack of a true counter service was slightly annoying. Not being able to refill mugs and having to hand them over was a pain. We just cant understand why they can't find one place to put a least one refill station.
The only other thing that we commented on was that we loved the theming and we wished that the swan and dolphin would just disappear. We felt it was really over-powering. We kept noticing it like a sore thumb at boardwalk, Epcot, even noticed it in the distance when on the monrorail heading to MK.
We did a split stay between bw and grand Floridian and we liked them both very much. We felt more at home at boardwalk though.
If Her Royal Highness approved the latest change to BWI, then all is goodHRH approves So I have changed to BWI CLThe first two nights we are at BLT (I plan on boating over to visit WL)
New thread looks great. I only have one quibble: when you say 3227/3229 are adjoining, they are right next to each other (as are 3225/3227) but they do not connect--we just stayed in 3227 and my aunt and uncle in 3229 over Christmas--there was definitely not an interior connection between the rooms (though I did get some pictures over the balcony wall!).
Adjoining means they are next to each other, but do not connect.
All the 12s started making me dizzyI am beyond Excited.... 12/14/12-12/15/12 at one of the value hotels and then it is DVC..Boardwalk 12/16/12-12-22/12.. YEAH BABY!!

Thank you for the link with all those fun photosHad the same effect on me KOOK outdid herself with this Thread!
I was over checking out easyWDW looking for information on the resorts and Christmas time and I just have to stay at the BW for Christmas now.

You know, the lobbies are under utilized. I think WDW has some of the best lobby theming. I love to sit in the WL or the other MK resort lobbies and people watch. I actually love watching families check-in and greeters greet. We all tend to go-go-go when we're at WDW, and sometimes I force myself to stop and take it all in, of course, DD13 finds it rather boring
Thanks for posting you're review.Awesome start to another wonderful thread about the BWI. We just came back from another wonderful stay club level. We were in one of our favorite rooms 4261 which is located right before you use your key to access the innkeepers.
The lounge was not busy until the weekend. The food offerings were yummy as always.
We ate at Flying Fish, Artist Point and Raglan Road. Off property we ate at Charlys Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze and a wonderful Japanese Restaurant. The parks were not too crowded except for you guessed it, the weekend. We could not do as much as we are used to as DH blew his knee out and was on crutches. By the time we go back the end of April hopefully he will be good as new. On the previous thread sfbank mentioned the entertainers on the boardwalk. There are some new entertainers who think that Brian the Magician should be gone. He is the only Entertainer that you will find in the lobby or up in the lounge when it is cold or raining. In fact, the one night it did get chilly so he came to the lounge. He made all of us who were there participate. We had loads of fun.
Our next trip is the end of April.
