Welcome! The 5th floor actually isn't CL, they are Standard Rooms and I have photos on the first page of a lovely 5th floor room that has a view of Illuminations and Epcot.

Thank you! I saw the room pics, but wasn't completely sure if they were standard regular or standard CL. :) we are very excited!

Dumb question - would someone kindly refresh my memory on this...

All of the Club-level deluxe rooms at BWI are BW view, right?

(thanks in advance)

Yes. Five are on the 4th floor which is where the lounge is and five are on the 3rd floor.

I am looking for trip reports of people that stayed at BWI (for that trip report). Does anyone have any links to some? Did you write one yourself? I am just getting so excited for our trip and would love to read about other peoples trips at the same resort. :D

Hi all, I'm not sure if this had been asked recently...
Has the Boardwalk Bakery reopened yet?
and AllEars has the pool bar listed as closed, did it reopen when the pool did or is it indeed closed?

TIA We arrive in just 24 days for a pre cruise stay!!!:cool1:

I read that it is suppose to open April 26th or 28th? I know it is a day or two before we arrive and we get in on the 29th. I don't know about the pool bar though.

The Community Hall is a great place for activities. My daughter took her two boys there in December and they loved it.

Can anyone tell me how long it take to get to MK, AK, and DtD from BWI via bus?

Specifically:

MK at Rope drop
AK in general
DtD early/at opening on a Saturday morning

(we'll walk or boat it to Epcot and HS, and I found that info in the opening)

I'm sorry if this has been covered. The thread is just so long! I tried searching, but it was getting tedious going through them all. Thanks so much!

Hi all. We're considering BWV for a few days of our October trip (if we can find a good deal on point rental). If we valet the car and don't use it for a few days, how are the charges handled? TIA!
I apologize that your question was overlooked. I've never used valet parking so I had to look it up:

Valet Parking is offered at all of the Disney Deluxe Resorts. There is a $15.00 daily fee ($16.88 with tax) for using this service. Valet parking is not free for DVC members.

Valet Parking is FREE for the following:

Tables in Wonderland cardholders with an Advance Dining Reservation at the resort where they are valet parking
All guests who have a current handicap license plate/tag
Tipping is appropriate and customary for valet parking.

Does the Bw have a kids area"kids Club" where they have stuff for the kids to do during the day and nite ?
There is the Sandcastle Club at the YC/BC. They usually have some activities around 2:30 - 4:00 (at least the Cub's Den at WL does). Around 4:30 they offer sitting services which includes dinner. HERE is the link to reviews. The Community Hall near the pool is free and I believe the hours are the same as BLT which is 9AM - 10PM. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

I haven't used the buses from the BWI, but I would recommend being at the bus stop at least one hour prior to the time you need to be there.

WDWKOOK can I ask you another question about the valet parking if you don't mind? Do they charge you a daily rate if you don't take your car again for a few days, say I left the car with them on a Monday and did HS on a Tuesday and Epcot on a Wednesday and then used the car again on a Thursday would we be paying for just the Monday or the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday?

You're welcome:)

My limited understanding is that the $15 is a daily charge whether you drive the vehicle or not because, presumably, your car will be occupying precious valet parking lot space, hence the daily charge. What you won't incur is any daily tipping since you'd just be 'storing' your car. Also, you only pay the daily fee once, so if you do decide to take your vehicle out multiple times or to a different resort, you will only be charged the fee once per day.

It used to be. Sadly, that is one privilege we lost.

Thanks for the reply :thumbsup2

I apologize is this has been covered already...Do any of the pools at the resort have lifts for people with disabilities?

I usually stay at the Dolphin but I have always wanted to stay in Boardwalk Villas. Thinking about treating myself for my 40th birthday in 2014.

Best,

Autumn
