When using the DDP TS, can an additional item be purchased and payed for along with DDP, if it is not covered by the DDP allotment? Or are you locked into using only the DDP.
Exp. I might want to add a salad to my app., entree and dessert or try an additional app.
Thank you,
Michael Dorn
Yes, you can order whatever you like and all of the items not covered by your DDP TS credit will be billed to your table directly. You can settle this bill using your room charge, credit card, gift card, or cash just like you would settle the gratuity portion of the meal.
Please keep in mind that if you are not on the Deluxe DDP, appetizers of any sort are not included on your TS credit at all.
Are you talking about the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan?Based on the wording of your question it sounds like you're talking about the deluxe. But just an FYI, according to the abbreviations thread, on this board the abbreviation "DDP" is used to designate just the Disney Dining Plan, not the Deluxe Dining Plan. On here, DDP is most commonly used to mean the basic dining with 1 TS, 1 CS and 1 snack.
People often refer to the Deluxe plan as the DxDDP or even just Deluxe Dining.
Thank you all so much for the info! I actually did refer to Disney Dining Plan, not the Deluxe. And now I know that apps. are not included in the DDP any longer.
